Good food and reasonable service. Not an extensive menu, but definitely one of the better restaurants around for share type dishes.

King crab was delicious! Cooked in 2 ways- spring onion with noodles and salt and pepper with legs! Is meaty and tasted the deep sea flavour. Worth a try

We used to really enjoy dining at Wong’s Kitchen. However, when we went over the weekend, the service and food standard had gone down hill. Maybe changed owner? Furniture was different, no table cloth or white paper cover. Staff were different. In addition to the seafood we ordered, we asked for Mongolian chicken. Staff tried to convince us to get lamb or beef, even though we wanted chicken. He said he will ask the chef to see if it’s doable. This dish is listed in the menu book, why wouldn’t it be doable? Food was served in an unusual order. Lobster with noodles came last, no apologies. Portion size is a lot smaller than they used to be. Taste was very average. During dinner, no one proactively came to clear empty plates or change bone plates. We had to raise our hands to request each time. Icing on the cake… they charge $2 pp for tea even for kids drinking water, we had to ask this to be fixed, and $6 pp for corkage! This is very expensive service charge for any restaurant, especially in Box Hill. We won’t be going back.

Guys don't go without cash - their surcharge is $5 !??!?! if you use card. We were not informed of this when we entered and at the end of the meal we had no choice but to pay the $5 as we didn't have cash on us. Food was OK but honestly who charges $5 for card payment? And at least tell your customer before they come in? This was on a weekday also. Will not be back.

Food pretty good but bit long to wait the staff to get our order. Pretty friendly service. It's our first time visit and every one happy with the food.

We book a table for 7people on 7:15pm today , once we enter the shop the staff said that someone else has been taken our name to have the table . It’s a very bad management , and the staff are trying to ignore us , wasting our time all the way from city to here . Never come again .

Small but nicely lit restaurant serving really delicious food, especially the pork intestines and fried calamari.

Chinese New Year busyness is not an entitlement for rude service. Don't take so many bookings if cannot manage.
