A cosy place featuring great tasting food. We ordered a couple of noodle dishes that were surprisingly delicious and fried so well that it had the wonderful "wok-hei". The stuffed bean curd and eggplant were also delicious and dressed in a tasty gravy that completed the dish. The chef was friendly and accommodating, and helpful with ordering. Not a fancy place, but offers tasty authentic Chinese and Malaysian cuisine. Will certainly come back.
Delivery in 30 minutes right on time. Sweet and sour pork was really great. Will order from them again no problems at all. Delivery and food was perfect thanks very much.
I ate here last night with 2 other people. I have been here previously and have enjoyed the experience although last night I was throughly disappointed and I hate to say felt treated differently due to being white. In ordering our first dish, we opted for homemade dim sims, they arrived warmbut the outside was extremely chewy. Kind of like they had either been left out in the air or had been microwaved. After some back and forth the waiter replaced with fried dim sum. We ordered a number of dishes for our main: lemon chicken significantly smaller portion than what we had received before, Szechuan chicken, pepper beef and rainbow beef. We enjoyed these dishes until a table of Chinese/Malay people arrived and demanded a table, we watched as their dishes arrived about 3 times larger than the same dishes we ordered. We felt that we had been treated differently and will not go back again
I was a skeptic until I tried it out one evening. The Chinese Cantonese food is legit refer to the two photos below. If it wasn’t the speed of service I’d give it a full 5 stars. It is very busy over the weekends - be prepared to wait if you’re taking away. I guess it’s a sign of true testament of quality of food that people keep coming back. In addition to the rating, I give Wongs House a 9/10 for authenticity.
Avoid this place so you are not disappointed as been here a few times but now wouldn’t recommend it as the food quality has gone down for eg chewy like the meat is microwaved to be defrosted which is not nice to eat , the prices have gone up and the meal size has gotten smaller than the other visits previously and our mains especially look extra small if you compare it to any asian people in the restaurant as I had two of the same dish as other tables and the asians had at least double the size to what I had so I won’t be returning as I see that as ripping people off and also as racist and looking after your own so if you can’t treat everyone equal then you have lost my money forever.
Absolutely terrific. My wife and I found ourselves lost in Ringwood over the weekend. aha! There stood the great Wong’s House in all its magnificent glory. Having tried the satay, curry and rainbow beef.. I can indeed confirm that this restaurant is indeed what it boasts: an authentic and powerful journey for the taste buds. Bravo
This is the first review I've made I'm super disappointed.Ordered iteam number 24 chef recommendation rainbow beef with mandarin sauce the batter is thick soggy and disgusting! Some of the batter didn't even have meat. I wish I could leave this review with 0 stars but apparently it won't post without one. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
The WORST Chinese food I have ever had. Bought $75 worth of food and not one thing was nice. Both main meals were bland, sauces were like water. Do not go there.
Have been there few times, but unfortunately they have been going down hill. I gave my food to my dog. End up cooking two minute noddle and my 2min noodle is much better than their food. Don't waste your money there.
Food was great, staff pleasant and reasonable price will be back again Parking: Easy parking
