Awesome venue, hospitality food and staff. Brilliant place to throw a private function!
Excellent party venue
. The Little Red Door takes great pride in their cocktails like their take on the espresso martini. This line is very misleading. Their take on espresso martini is far from enjoyable. $18 for one which is made from.coffee vodka and kahlua. Thats all they used. Want a great pride cocktail this us not the place to have them. If your as unfortunate as us to have a function here. Watch out for the surprise last second fees such as a bogus security fee of $40hr. Be aware of the uneducated bar staff on what and how to make drinks. Watch out for the excuses arrogant, aggressive stand over staff who pretty much blame your function for their inadequacies. Like only 2 red wines to choose from. Like the pricing jumps around like a frog in a sock. Watch out for the unprofessional attitude of the owner. Lookout for the security your paying for because they seem invisible. Kudos to you if you actually spot your prepaid security. Hope yours does a better job than our invisible ones. Do not expect value for money. Do not expect manager to be up-to-date on covid rules for venues. Definitely do not order platters, as they are worse than a children's party food. Be prepared to be yelled at constantly for standing without a alcoholic drink or food in hand. Be prepared to be extremely disappointed in the venue chosen to celebrate a milestone to be left with terrible memories of being ripped off. 22 guests who all will be making sure the disgrace is well known to all unsuspecting potential patrons. We were told their lack of stock was due to us being their first function since covid. 2mths notice they had and they failed
After having a good night at the venue initially, free food was served to patrons, the atmosphere and vibe was good, enjoyed the dj sets. Unfortunately I would have given a much higher rating, but I'm absolutely disgusted by the verbal abuse and unprofessional treatment my partner and I recieved during the end of the night by an individual who was hired to take tickets at the door. We both kept well composed as this interaction was unfolding, I didnt get a chance to voice my concerns to the manager, as at the time this individual was still harassing us quite aggressively, though for some reason WE were the ones being kicked out of the venue. As someone who was the designated driver that night with a clear head, I'm still shaken up by the way we were treated by the end, and I dont think I'll be coming back. I dont expect or want a reply, especially after seeing some of the replys to other unhappy patrons, I guess the "customer is always right" saying doesnt apply here. I just hope this review helps management to avoid such incidents in the future.
Unfortunately didn't have a great experience here celebrating a 50th on the weekend. The venue had very little wine available and were unable to make any cocktails. We were over charged for food and charged an exorbitant "covid security fee" at the last minute when the booking was made months earlier
As stated above. Venue was poorly organised, no AC on a very humid day. Very hostile workers and this included a disgusting random charge for a "covid marshall". Frozen food for an extra $20pp and this was only one plate. Overpriced drinks and bartenders who couldn't count correctly! Ridiculously unaccomating to things that arose. Guests followed ALL covid rules according to Government legislation, and was treated like dirt because they made "their own rules" Very unprofessional and uninviting. I will never come back and have told many others the same. During these tough times it pays to be friendly and warm, not hostile. The host of the event did not try to run the venue as they wanted this is a poor excuse for the venues behavior. Was not a warm welcome and very unfriendly venue owner.
Great little venue. Very clean, staff are friendly and service was fantastic. I was there for a private function and all ran very smooth.

Worst bar service EVER. Or should I say, lack of. Waited to be served in the downstairs bar on Saturday night. I was the ONLY one at the bar. Nothing. No acknowledgement. The two girls just kept talking amongst themselves and cutting up garnishes. And it's not like they didn't see me. I was pretty hard to miss, standing there alone. AND it only gets worse. A plank of wood fell off the window ledge and hit me. The floor is unstable and I kept rolling my ankle as I was wearing heels. When it was brought to the owners attention it was denied and I was abused by them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
poor service - arrogant owner/staff - shocking over priced frozen food. Charge hourly rate for Covid 19 Marshall. complete fiasco these people should never be in the hospitality industry Try the Hostility industry you will do well
