Handy location on the road to the lighthouse. Covid-19 compliant. Outside seating only when we were there. Tucked away near lighthouse. We were spoilt with great weather and great food. Toasties are brilliant. Milkshakes were full of flavour. Pet friendly.
The place is adorable! Good quality coffee, friendly staff, cozy indoors or outdoors, it’s nice choice to sit and enjoy a breaky. Easy to find parking. Prices are very reasonable. Stunning views to the ocean from the lighthouse, which is literally, a few steps from the cafe.Recommended dishesScone, Bacon & Egg and Cheese Toastie
Dropped in here for lunch after walking from Anglesea and had a very pleasant experience sitting in the outside area. Ordered the scones which were fresh tasting with good whipped cream and jam. Friends ordered the Ruben Sandwich which was huge and looked delicious. Staff were efficient and friendly. Overall vibe and surrounds were nice on a warm day.
Super great location for a tea room. Plenty of drink and pastry options. I would recommend the scones, they come with jam and cream. Great seating outside and washrooms for customers. However there was dirty dishes on the tables outside. The best part was the birds eating the cream on a nearby table!Recommended dishesScone
Spring/Summer is the best time to go. Wonderful service and amazing scones. Probably the best combo of cream and jam with scones I've had in a long timeFood: 5/5
A cute little teahouse within walking distance from Splitpoint Lighthouse. They have a good selection of sandwiches and hot drinks. We had the Cheese & Bacon Toastie and the Avocado Toast. I personally enjoyed the Avo Toast, especially with the added cheese on the side. Very friendly staff. Worth a visit for a quick meal before/after visiting the Lighthouse.
As the scone master chef says, “this is a little hidden treasure..once people find out about us they keep on coming..thanks to our friends at Anglesea who said to come..great coffees, Milklab almond milk, wonderful ambiance and a smiling happy crew
Not bad. Staff are obviously new. A young male server set down my coffee today with both thumbs on the rim of the cup. Y'no, the part you drink from? Also watched as he flattened a toastie with his bare hands in full view of customers behind the counter. I understand it's really hard to get good servers atm but please make sure you're going over basic OHS with them. Most of the staff also looked a bit grim and over it. You might have to remind them to at least fake a smile in front of customers. And this is coming from 9 years of hospo experience... Bacon and Egg toastie was divine. The garlic butter was a very clever touch. Scones, albeit slightly tough are very nice.
You might think it’d get really busy on a Saturday before midday but it was actually fine, ordered within 10 minutes, got a seat and served within 20 mins. We ordered bacon and egg toastie as well as Ruben toastie, both were crunchy and delicious. Good ratio of cheese to meat. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we took away carrot cake and almond croissant. The cake was topped with pistachios and filled with walnut and sultanas, would recommend it. Almond croissant was delicious too, though wouldn’t mind more fillings. The prices are decent considering the location.
The location is absolutely amazing as its near Split Point Lighthouse. The food is delicious. The lady & her daughters are amazing and loved their hospitality.
