A very tranquil stay in the Dragonfly cottage. Loved the stars at night, the different types of colourful birds, especially the blue fairy-wrens I think that’s what they were and Sioban was very friendly and helpful with my family’s stay. I asked about restaurants/places to eat and she sent me a spread sheet of all the surrounding places which included, phone numbers, opening hours and distance. Also if you fancy a close up look at some stingrays, Hamelin bay beach is an hour drive from Wildwood and well worth it, plenty of scenic stops on the way. I included a pic of one of the stingrays. It’s a beautiful place with plenty to see or just stay on site and enjoy the comfort of the cottage and the peace and quiet. Rooms: Very comfortable beds Food & drinks: Plenty to choose from
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful cottage and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its cozy atmosphere and the breathtaking natural surroundings. The cottage itself was beautifully designed and furnished, exuding a warm and inviting ambiance. Every corner was tastefully decorated, creating a homely feel that made me instantly comfortable. The highlight for me was the well-equipped kitchen. I woke up each morning to the sound of birds chirping and the sight of kangaroos, horses, and sheep grazing nearby. A peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle and bustle. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in a cozy and well-equipped cottage, surrounded by nature's beauty, this is the perfect place for you.
Stunning location and a beautiful cosy cottage for two! We stayed in the Honeybee cottage and it was perfect for our quiet little getaway. We especially enjoyed the indoor wood fire, the bathtub that had an incredible view of the ocean and having cups of tea on the balcony overlooking the picturesque countryside.Rooms: 5/5
What a beautiful location. We stayed in the Butterfly cottage and could see the ocean from the front and had wild flowers and trees behind us. Very centrally located to all the wineries and the on-site cooking school is a must do. So much fun and had the most amazing food at the end of it. We did the Thai cooking class and then enjoyed it with our newly made friends. Would highly recommend this place, especially if you have a group as there are a few cottages on the property.
Really wonderful place - my family stayed at the Blue Wren and we were greeted by kangaroos and sheep every morning. They graze right outside the yard. The view is nice and we enjoyed walking on the compound. The rooms are comfortable - two rooms with queen size beds and a third with a queen size bed and two singles. One of the rooms have an ensuite bathroom and the other two share a bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped - there is a dishwasher and a gas grill.
Wildwood Valley Cotrages is an absolute treasure of a place. The host Siobhan and the rest of the amazing staff they have working there are beyond measure. Their friendliness, professionalism, attention to detail are sublime. The cottage was clean and set up perfectly for our young family. We loved coming home to a beautifully warm fire and our kids loved seeing the kangaroos outside our cottage in the morning!
From our first call to make a very last minute booking to check out, we had the very best experience. Belinda in reception was delightful and so accommodating - even finding us a coffee plunger the chalet already had a coffee machine. The Blue Wren chalet is charmingly rustic and very comfortable. The fire was ready to go on arrival and the chalet was very warm, with electric blankets/heaters as well as the fireplace and a heater as well in the main area, The beds and linen were good quality. A great well equipped kitchen. The best part however is the location! You really do feel as if you are "away from it all", and a great connection to nature with views down the valley to the ocean. Our daily visitors, were the Kangaroos, Blue Wrens, and sheep. Blue Wren Chalet has 3 bedrooms, so is perfect for a family. We will be back with ours! Wildwood Valley is in a great spot to explore nearby wineries, the coast and Dunsborough a short drive away.
Well I never realised how much I would love this place. Lovely and clean and quite and very relaxing. Lots of kangaroos and wildlife. Everything is at your doorstep..glad we found this place online wished we stayed longer.Rooms: 5/5
A brief family visit in the Blue Wren We loved the place. The cabins had all you wanted for your stay and everything was to a high standard. There was plenty of room both inside and out. The wildlife was so close and enjoyable. The lodges are near to vineyards, the town of Margaret River and several beaches and well as beautiful countryside. We all loved the experience and intend to return for another stay
We stayed at Wildwood Valley in the Dragonfly cottage this weekend, whilst visiting the area to combine business with a bit of R&R. This is without doubt the best place we have ever stayed in the Margaret River area. The cottage was fully set up with all amenities including a log fire and a coffee machine, both musts for a trip down South. It is close to a number of wineries and other local attractions. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well laid out with every thoughtful amenity including an electric blanket and spacious lounge and dining room. Great for a family get together where everyone wants their own space, but still to be close together as there are 4 cottages set a small distance apart. Julie welcomed us and explained everything and then we had the place to ourselves. The wifi was the best we've ever had, so super convenient to keep in touch with the outside world if you need/want to, definitely a thumbs up from us and we'll be back.
