The Proprietors Alan and Denise are the nicest and most helpful people you could ever meet. The Motel is small family orientated and secluded. There is a lovely garden area to sit and chat with friends. Plenty of native birds around.  The rooms are very clean and neat and very well maintained. My wife and I and 5 friends stayed there in Sept 2017. It was our second stay and it wont be out last. Highly recommended.

Just had a wonderful two night stay at Edge of the Forest Motel. Denise and Alan are delightful hosts and the room was wonderfully appointed. The bed was so comfortable with lovely linen and towels in the bathroom along with toiletries. The kitchenette was well equipped and the whole unit was beautiful and clean. Lovely gardens and close to town. Will definitely be staying again. Jennifer

What a lovely place.  Setting is sensational.  Each room has its own outdoor sitting area.  Rooms are lovely.  Spotlessly clean.  Breakfast included and tomorrow's is brought to your room each day when room is serviced.  We stayed a third night and were given a delightful bottle of wine as a gift.  Jug, toaster,  microwave, tv, heating/cooling.  Modern.  Cosy and romantic.  What more can I say?  Best price of the whole trip too!  If in the area again, I'm staying here.  Just want to mention too, the personal attention of our hosts; warm, friendly and genuinely interested in us.  They spent time advising us, going over the local area map with us and doing their utmost to ensure our enjoyment of our time in the area.  Thanks folks!
