We've been coming here since they opened. Great range and value for money. From big range of snacks to yummy cheese. The ice cream section is amazing. They have something for everyone. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of parking all the way around the back.
Great range and value for money. There are also parallel imported goods from Europe and Australia you can’t find in a typical supermarket. The ice cream section is amazing. Do check the best before date. The parking can be tricky.
Wheelchair user review. Today I caught a taxi to East Tamiki to shop at Why Knot. The was an $80 each way fare from the city. I paid for a support worker to vote and assist me for 4 hours...so add another $100+ to the trip. I was so excited. I needed to visit.other stores and Google all stores to see if they were open. One was closed till Wednesday but the store I was looking forward to exploring was Why Knot and that said open. I need to explain it is a huge physical effort as well as the huge financial costs to plan a day out there....but finally it was done and our transport arrived and off we went. I am attaching a photograph of what greeted us....and the cars that kept arriving to that sign on the closed gate. A sign that took much more effort than it takes to go on Google and say closed until....instead of saying they are open when they were not....it would have saved me hundreds of dollars and many others the cost of petrol and their wasted time. To say I was furious would be an understatement. Why Knot ..be truthful about opening hours Why Knot .. be thoughtful of your customers Why Knot ... be open when you say you are online....it is to late when we get to the gate.
If you're looking for a bargin shopping wholesaler, Why Knot is a good choice. With everything make sure you are checking the best buy dates so you know what you're doing with your groceries when bringing them home.
I first visited a month ago to stock up for a party. I was blown away by the variety and great deals. Especially good for cheeses, savouries, ice cream, chocolate, crackers and juice. I got 30 items for $69. Staff were helpful and friendly even though it was very busy at 1230-130pm Friday. Great to see this business cutting consumer costs in these high inflationary times. Well done Why Knot - and thank you.
A great place. You will always find a bargain. Spent 115.00 and worked it out on countdowns online shopping. I saved 98.00. Such a huge savings. Great for snacks and pantry fillers. I recommend it to everyone. Parking can be a hassle but shows how busy they are from the time they open till when they close. Great stufg
The prices are brilliant! $8.50 for a bottle of olive oil which would cost $12 at your local pack&save. Also for a bottle of ginger beer costs $5 for 2! Which would cost $5 for a single one everywhere else. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is simply because the store still needs more variety of foods and items. Majority of items are still extremely affordable prices. The staff are also incredibly helpful aswell.
Amazing prices on food that is close to or just past it’s best before date. If you’re having a party of some sort, or you entertain often, come here for the best deals on everything from drinks to meat to frozen food and of course yummy cheese!! They really do have something for everyone. Lots of parking around the back if the front carpark is already full.
Some items have great discounts normally about to expire or have already expired. Some are kind of just the same or only a little less than as other supermarkets. Its quite crowded in there, always have to look out for people passing by when you want to grab something but it’s manageable.
Great value for money. Lots of different products from well known and the less known brands at low prices. The only down side is that not every day/week is the same so if you like something you may not find it on your next visit. Extremely busy on the weekends so you have to get in early or just before close.
