I had an amazing experience and a great time! I learnt so much useful information that I will apply in the future. I felt very warm and welcome to Whitehouse and would love to come back soon!
ZERO STARS I write this review not feeling comfortable using my name, as I feel that this organisation has nothing but malicious intent towards anybody giving negative feedback so "management", no need to point out my being unknown. Where do I begin? Disappointing. This word holds little grunt to even start my review. However, Whitehouse Insititute, take a look at the Oxford dictionary meaning and then print it across your building. 'Disappointing': sad or displeased because someone or something has failed to fulfil one's hopes or expectations. You as an educational facility have failed. Failed to foster student growth, failed to uphold any form of professionalism, failed to brace your mission statement, failed to have an ounce of moral integrity and failed to produce an education that reflects the $75,000+ in tuition fees. I should have left this school early on, yet with the constant lies and false promises made I continued. Going an entire year without wifi, an entire degree without maintained resources, dress forms, sewing machines and irons were constantly out of order. Every week, being fed lies upon deceit and treated like cattle being led to a dry, dead field. Keep in mind, these issues only scratch the surface of what goes on in this place. The worst is not the lack of resources, but in fact, the worst is the "management" and staff team stay tuned for the further review. Like a previous review states, shiny on the outside... rotten to the core. In my time at this school, I have had multiple meetings with "management" whom I am assuming is responding pathetically to these reviews and ought to be ashamed of their lack of integrity, and each time I was left absolutely dishevelled and disillusioned at the utter lack of respect or care that was given. Please don't bother asking me to make an appointment with you, we both know you don't care so don't act as though you do. Besides, appointments with you come to utterly no avail. The staff at Whitehouse Institute, including the Owner of the business, are careless, mean-spirited megalomaniacs who value the establishment as a money-making-machine and it is clear to see, couldn't care less about the future OR CURRENT STABILITY of their past, present, or future students. It is not uncommon, being verbally chastised, bullied and ridiculed by said staff on numerous occasions to your face and behind your back, like the mean children they are. Interesting that you all feel you can treat your clients this way, at the end of the day YOU work for US and we pay your salary. I can safely say that the reason your business is still running, is because students past and present are terrified that 'bringing to light this sham of a company', could result in our qualification being redundant, and all the stress, pain and disappointment would have meant truly nothing. However, is it really worth anything? sure, I can say I survived Whitehouse Institute and am stronger for it, but humour aside this place is just a joke and not a funny one. I implore... No. I BEG anyone wanting to study fashion to PLEASE take these reviews VERY seriously, we are not disgruntled students, we worked hard, we made good grades, we were respectful. We TRIED to see the light, but the end of this tunnel does not lead to glory. This Institute will lie to your face with no hesitation only to get your money and nothing else. I am utterly disappointed, disgusted and devastated that I made this lifelong and mentally ruining investment to Whitehouse Institute of Design. You should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you who run this so-called "school". If you spent more time establishing quality education, these reviews would not be given. Shame on you Whitehouse Institute. My wish is that one day this business is exposed to its true rotten intentions so that no one ever has to be treated this way again. One last thing. The only good reviews you read, are past students that now work for the school or new, young, impressionable intakes who have been badgered to write positive reviews.
Amazing experience and atmosphere. The Melbourne campus is so nice and everyone is extremely welcoming! Thank you for the great opportunity
I enjoyed working in a creative environment and I also enjoyed being set an open ended task where I was given the creative freedom to try whatever I wanted.
I enjoyed walking around campus and seeing what students are doing/working on, and also the different design work they have already done. Hope to comeback and do a design course!
