White Smile Dental is located conveniently for North Shore residents in the heart of Takapuna, on 15-17 Hurstmere Road (just near the corner of Lake Road). There is ample on street parking and several bus routes that will drop you virtually at the front of the clinic. It is extremely well sign posted from the main road and pedestrian area.

At present, we cover most aspects of general, cosmetic and orthodontic dentistry. If we are unable to provide other forms of specialist dentistry, we will be able to refer you appropriately. In all cases, we have got you covered.

Our aim is to offer a fun, yet sophisticated surgery, where people will look forward to visiting us for treatment. Our reception room is elegant and relaxing. There is a large screen TV with an X-box for the kids, or even for the kids at heart. Our treatment rooms are modern and fully digitalised. With flexible appointment times, transparent pricing and detailed explanation of treatments, we hope that you will have a very nice experience when visiting our practice. We try our utmost to support you with solid customer service and excellent post-treatment care.

I went to white smile on a recommendation from a family member. I am usually very nervous about going to the dentist, the team were super kind from the get-go. They were very welcoming and explained things very clearly so that I understood. I will 100% be happy to go back there ! Reasonable prices too ! -super super happy customer.

I went to White smile dental because I saw them have a promotion about Braces and they offer 15 minutes free consultancy. I arrived on time but had to waited 25 minutes for my appointment. When the dentist finally came out she said it was her patient's fault to make me wait so long, which I found ridicules, she was rude and didn't realised she has bad time management. 
After I walked in the dentist's room, she just had a radome quick look my teeth, she said I need  to pay for another consultancy otherwise I need to leave straight away. She didn't have any patience to explain the braces, it was very rude and unprofessional. I left quickly and felt this is like a trap.  How come this kind of bad service would lead to a good treatment? I would never ever go back.  Hope this help others to avoid my mistake.

The dentists who treated my teeth were all friendly, but they were certainly young and not really experienced, which I was a bit concerned about. After taking OPG X-ray photo, I was told that they would send it to me by email, which did not happen. Also even though they already did cleaning on my teeth on my first visit, later they told me that I should do it again with extra cost and they put it on the treatment plan. I really wonder how many dentists in NZ are genuinely concerned about the welfare of their patients, not their pocket. Getting dental treatment in NZ is ridiculously expensive, and that is the reason why in NZ you can easily see how wealthy you are as an adult if you have a look at your own teeth. 
On top of that, after 8 months, one of the teeth that they treated started to have a throbbing pain. Have decided to get my teeth checked and treated when I escape from NZ.

I saw Dr Deborah Gibson-Hardie, she was really lovely and friendly and gave me lots of information. She understood that I am a student and can't afford to have a lot of work done at once so she gave me quotes for the work she recommended. I plan on coming back soon to get this work done. She also smoothed my slightly chipped front teeth free of charge which no other dentist has even offered to do for me before. I would definitely recommend White Smile Dental to my friends. The staff are all very professional and friendly and the clinic is clean and well presented.

Really disappointed with the service here. Paid for a Laser Teeth Whitening Treatment (Optn incl. a Scale & Polish) coupon and went in. Was not given the Laser Teeth Whitening and was told I would have to get a filling before that would be possible. I called back twice again after getting the filling, no replies. Kept the money, coupon now expired, didn't reply.
