Great name and fabulous food. I had the salmon and salad bagel and my friend had eggs Florentine on a potato rosti, which was delicious. We both had coffee which though nice was only luke warm. I like my coffee hot. There’s comfy seating outside and a book depository. Really cool decorations and the owners are lovely people.
Don't even try it. Worst coffee I ever had. Not sure why the rating is so high....and the food is pretty average... I've been to much better places. Burnt bacon's and sausages and old mushrooms...
Prompt, friendly service and a great range on the menu. Nice busy vibe without feeling over crowded
Had a great brunch here this morning! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, but the service was what stood out the most. Each table has plenty of blankets, and our server even put the blanket around my shoulders to make sure I was comfortable. My girlfriend got bacon and eggs, and her poached eggs which were otherwise perfect had split during cooking and our server brought us a free almond croissant when we were finished our brunch. Fun and warm staff are such a rarity, and this is what sets this Cafe apart. Come for the food, stay for the service.
Good gluten free eggs Benedict. Very tasty homemade beef and mushroom pie. Friendly, helpful service. Family owned and run. Inside outside eating. Funky eclectic outdoor seating. Love the 80s music.
Lovely cozy cafe with good coffee and brekky. We have come here on Saturday morning for a breakfast, and loved the place instantly. They have 'gluten free egg benedict', that is served with harsh-brown-like potato instead of bread. It is excellent. It is a rather quiet cafe in a quiet neighbourhood. Music is not loud, so ideal to have conversations. Has outdoor seats. The staff were very friendly.
Convenient cafe on the intersection at the entrance to Stanmore train station. The menu is good but doesn’t extend far beyond standard cafe food. The quality of the meals and coffee is high. There’s plenty of seating, the staff are attentive and it’s a cosy spot for breaky or lunch.
Best burger around! Have never failed to always live up to their standard of delivering great burgers. I’m not the biggest fan of meat but happily make sure there aren’t any crumbs on my plate here. Friendly staff and chilled atmosphere
Intuitive and attentive service, exceptionally good, every time. Located tragically close to my house and the station, so I'm forced to drink their delicious coffee almost every day. Sometimes, I splurge on their brioche brekky roll on my way to work, and it's good enough to be downright rude scarfing it down on the train.
We went there today for a late lunch arriving at 1pm and had a great lunch the food was lovely and I would have given more stars however the counter staff were completely rude and it seemed a bother to take our order! Then at 2.15pm the wait staff start putting the chairs on the other tables to clean up and then stand there staring at us it says on their website they open until 4pm on a Sat.. having worked in hospitality myself we took the hint and left.. they seemed happy then and actually said goodbye after practically ignoring us the rest of the time! Worst customer service ever. So if you want great food but rude staff this is the cafe for you.. Personally we won't be back again.
