Story

The established subtropical gardens offer interest to gardening and art enthusiast all year. Rare and unusual plants are the background to our new Art Park with artworks from 40+ artists from around NZ and abroad.
Our Art gallery has a changing exhibition of mostly international printmaking. Our private cottages are in a quiet situation but just 1km from the centre of Kerikeri township and backs on to the Stone Store Basin reserve with its history and river walking tracks.

Wonderful.
Lush gardens, clean tidy cottages, wonderful bush walk and sculpture park, art gallery.
Extremely lovely and helpful host.
Handy to many walks; historic sites, waterfalls and town.

We spent four weeks here while looking for a holiday house to buy, and couldn't have made a better choice. The sub tropical garden setting was magical, and the cottage  warm, comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished, including some lovely original artworks and very well equipped with everything we needed, even for this extended stay.  The location was spot on, between the town and the Kerikeri inlet with its historic buildings. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly. Could not recommend too highly.

Had a great 3 night stay in October and think I made a really good choice in choosing this place to stay. It's in a wonderful place to explore the Bay of Islands and the accommodation itself is charming and clean and the owners are really friendly and knowledgeable. I'm looking forward to the next time I can get up this way and will definitely try book here again.

Lovely cottage amongst gorgeous gardens and a very pleasant place to stay indeed.
Close to historic sites and the town.
Highly recommended!
