Absolutely world class in every way. View: amazing. Food: amazing. Cocktails and wine: amazing. Service: amazing. What's not to love. Probably the best restaurant in Port Macquarie and there's a few great ones!. Book in advance if you wanna good seat.
I had such a lovely time to celebrate our 5th anniversary! The food there was phenomenal, and the vibe was just brilliant. For the scallops, I took away halp of the sauce, as the sauce was pretty strong and I wanted to enjoy its natural flavours, which was AWESOME! While enjoying the food, I felt like I was on a cruise, the daytime view through the windows was just gorgeous.
Took my wife to lunch, a very pleasent surprise. The staff were excellent and super well trained, curtis, and friendly. The food was excellent, we had the seafood platter for 2 as well as an entree of sourdough bread and a special butter. The platter was served in 2 parts colds first and then when finished the hots. All in all a great culinary delight. To add to this was the view and the cleanliness of the place making for an overall enjoyable experience, we will certainly be going back, it made the whole 90 minute drive from Forsterour home worthwhile Kid-friendliness: We saw quite a number of familys with kids. The staff had no indifference to the kids all were treated with equal hospitality by the staff Parking: Plenty of parking outside along the waterfront Wheelchair accessibility: Level ground access
The Walebone restaurant provides a relaxing dining experience. Innovative, great tasting food with a reasonable selection of wines to suit all tastes. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. The restaurant decor is bright and inviting with water views. The prices are not cheap but the dining experience is worth it. A great place to enjoy a lunch with friends or family.
Food was amazing!!! After reading reviews we had to see ourselves, if we could give it 6 stars we would! Staff were impeccable and knew every detail about each dish we got the dinner for 2 plates. Plenty of food to share with 2 children, all food was cooked to absolute perfection, looking forward to visiting again! We were so glad to find this hidden gem!
Had high hopes for this place however, was left very disappointed. Although fish was cooked well and service was great, the portion sizes for the price of these dishes were shocking. The salad that came with the Atlantic salmon and Pink Ling was more of a main than the actual fish. Felt like we paid $90+ just for some salad and oysters.
Food was delicious, especially the 300g Scotch Fillet. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice, with spectacular ocean views. Food is a bit pricey though. Would highly recommend. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp was available
It's a beautiful spot and a lovely scenic view by the water from the dining room. The Kingfish crudo was super fresh if only a little overshadowed by the dressing.Kipfler potatoes with Pecorino, mint speck were delicious. The seafood chowder was generous, delicious, and full of flavour. Most definitely recommend it.Food: 4/5
My favourite dining spot in Port Macquarie. Definitely on the fancier side but the food was delicious! The seafood platter offered had a great array of food. The oysters and prawns were as fresh as I’ve ever had. A great spot for a date, a birthday, a special occasion or if you simply want to just treat yourself!
Amazing fruits de mer you get to try abit of everything, roasted king prawn and roasted ras el hanor spiced eggplant. Super fresh, yummy and cooked to perfection. Stunning sunset view by the water. A must visit place in port macquarie
