Karen at the branch is a rude, impatient, intimidating person, who lied to me that loan documents weren't at the branch, but I was confirmed by my client that he did get a call from mt Waverley branch advising him to sign the doc. Karen was not even listening to my questions at the phone call, and she was pushy when I was explaining the whole situation. She also makes it very clear that she is just a banker telller has nothing to do with loan documents right after I asked her name, not sure what is her intention. The phone call occurred from 16:15 to 6:19 on 27 Feb 2023. I hope the management can take this seriously, and check the recording of this phone call. I checked previous reviews of this branch, Karen was mentioned 2 times in Google review, nor sure if it's the same person, if it is, I advise that the hr should review her performance and make the right decision.
No wonder reviews are bad on this branch. Lady named Karen did my deposit and she was extremely Karen about it. Old lady should’ve learnt little bit of customer service by her age. 0 positivity or customer service. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. No experience survey or suggestions box to leave a message. Noone to talk to either.
What a poor excuse for a bank is this branch. When you ring them and leave a message they don't call you back. The say a fish rots from the head down so I put total blame on the manager of this branch. Thankfully there is another branch closer to where I live. Adious Mt Waverley. Pity I can't leave a no star rating.
Sad to see so many bad experiences - some sound awful. But I suspect most of us make an effort to post bank reviews only when we are angry or dissatisfied. I had a lovely customer service experience today, with smiles and friendly conversation. Everything explained politely, even when they couldn't help with one item. Wish I knew the teller's name, but it was about 3.30pm on Mon 15 March, 2021. Thank you for your service.
Outrageous customer service, atmosphere and general attitude. There’s more life in a morgue than there is that the Mount Waverley branch. Karen is a morose almost surly woman, has forgotten how to smile or say have a nice day. Honestly it wouldn’t kill you to play some music in that miserable gloomy building. And for goodness’ sake do something creative with those teller booths that have been shut. I’m giving it a single star because there’s no lower option to choose from.
I’ve been banking here for 10 years, and have always had amazing service. I’d like to think I’ve been kind and patient with the staff and they have been kind and patient with me.
on the 7th of September my grandparents attended this bank to make a transfer from their account with their hard earned money to pay rent to continue to live under their roof. they do not have internet banking due to their personal choice which is their right. they are fiercely independent people and refuse to succumb to being pressured to use internet banking. my grandfather was informed that he would be charged $30 for the teller to conduct the transfer of their money to another financial institution. when he questioning the charge he was abruptly advised by the teller that he should "go home and ask his children to do it for him." this is wildly inappropriate as my grandfather should be able to oversee his own finances even in a modern day society. this is discrimination of the older community. the fee should be refunded and rethought. I would be very disappointed if this fee were to be charged to them in the future.
Very lazy half way through serving me she told me i had to come back tomorrow because it was 4 o'clock an they had just closed, i think it would have been a bit different if i had $100000 on me and wanted to open a new account. Shame on you
Terrible banking experience. The banker was busy chatting away on her phone in Hindi, while I was kept waiting for 20 minutes. Not professional behaviour. This has been my second poor experience at this branch. Would suggest giving this branch a miss.
Rude staff, always talk in a condescending manner. Whenever I come here for change they tell me I have to order it so when I did they can't even get the amount I asked for in time. NAB gives me my change no matter how big the order.
