I needed to deposit a Westpac cheque to my cba account and they gave me wrong info by sending me to another Westpac branch. I particularly asked them whether the cheque had to go to a Westpac branch and they said yes. I went to Westpac and they said you should take it to whichever bank you have an account with and doesn't have to be Westpac.
ATM frequently fails. Long queue and horrible service. They were doing some sort security validation to every customer to verify their identity due to recent security breaches with other companies. However the stupid bit is they are verifying and asking personal information in front other people.
What a breath of fresh air, we were assisted by Sara Zahraee and her customer service was on point. The way I was greeted when I entered the Castle Hill branch set the tone for a positive banking experience. I am so glad after only 10 days with NAB we decided to switch to Westpac. The level of service and attention to detail is at opposite ends of the scale when compared to each other.
Only one staff at the counter, appeared to be working very slowly despite a long line of customers waiting. On the other hand, some other staff are looking very available but claimed they cannot help at all as they waiting for other customers who have bookings to arrive. After waiting for a while, the lady at the counter was still serving the same customer very slowly, so I decided to leave the store.
24 hour service for coin and note deposits, note withdrawal and changing notes into smaller denominations or into cash.
Very happy with my experience with the Castle Hill Branch. The lady who helped me with a difficult situation was extremely helpful, friendly, efficient and patient. Thank you!
Worst banking experience by someone called himself “ personal banker” - Farooq, he doesn’t even know what’s the interest rate we were on half year ago! He told me he has no access info to our past a few months back interest rates. Well I am here to talk about home loan, you don’t even know?! I don’t believe it. A soon as he knows we are going to close the loan account, he is not answer any questions, either he has no access or just talk over me. Not mention about helpful, just hardly does his work… maybe we close this loan and open another loan, you are so shortsighted! Ok never will bank with you guys!
Waited around an hour, though, considering the lack of workers on Easter I did not think much about it. However the lady who came way after us got attended to before us by a staff member named Urooj. She said it was because the customer called her over and asked her, so that customer was helped first. According to that logic is it that we just have to ask a worker to be accommodated before those in front of us, and that we can cut in line? The worst experience ever.
Terrible service, I was told to sit here and wait for someone, but it has been more than 1 hour waiting time, no one come to serve, even the branch was super quiet.
I was in the branch for almost an hour, trying to fix problems that were created online, over the phone and in person by me and other Westpac representatives from other branches. Rama did a great job at amending all of the issues, the customer service is great and the team are very polite. I was contemplating closing my accounts due to my previous experiences however I am likely to keep them now.
