I could not been any happier with Westgrove primary school. My two children have now been at this school for over one year now after transferring from another school.The improvement in my children's from lacking in academic skills to being able to read and write has been 100% improvement. When before my children didn't want to go to school, and now I can't keep them away. The administration staff and teachers are wonderful and friendly. Seriously love the atmosphere everytime I need to attend the school with warm welcoming.
This school is good and all. I was here last year. But the thing is. I GOT A DETENTION FOR DRAWING ON THE WALLS WITH FREAKING CHALK IN YEAR 4. not to mention the fact that made me eat a disgusting sandwich in year 2 cuz i forgot my lunch. The canteen is good and stuff. The teachers are fire. But some teachers get on my nerves. But im not gonna name them. So in conclusion go to this school for a few years maybe 3 or 2. Then leave your life will be hell if you stay til year 6..!
hii! I used to go here a long time ago and now I’m in year 6 in a different school, I think the school here was very nice and I also mean it because the teachers were really nice and the canteen food was soooo good and lots of kind people but too bad I have too move in 2019.. I lost all my friends especially my bff named Audrey I really miss her a lot
Where do I start? This school was a horrible experience for me. The canteen food was great. The service there wasn't though. Even my older brother had a horrible experience, they threw out his Pokemon cards when he went to take them outside. The ladies that work at first aid are rude and have attitudes. The bullying at this school is horrendous and the teachers are horrible, this school needs to get help also with the classrooms because some are old and smell horrible. I'm sorry but this is all facts. @emily rulz shared a true story and I feel extremely bad for her and that tremendous experience. I'm sorry but this school is a let down, and I wouldn't bring your child here.
My son attends Westgrove Primary and I really can't fault the school at all. They were so supportive during remote learning this year and last. Whenever I have had any concerns they have listened and tried their best to address/answer them. The Principals are at the gate each morning welcoming the children when they arrive, which my son loves!
Seven years here and very few good memories. Teachers were amazing and did the best they could but staff leadership did very little to combat bullying in the school. Heard recently they have canned music classes too. Very poor considering the importance of music in the social and cognitive development in kids.
Used to go here from 2014-2018. Kinda trash for the most part but the canteen had dim sims and JJ's and the teachers were great. Big up Mr. Langdon, Mr. Wintels, Mr. Vrettas, and Mrs. Lloyd. I don't know for sure if some of them have left the school but they were amazing inspirations for me.
6years back school was good teacher were helpful but sorry to say this year teachers are so fussy absent minded.they don’t care to give an answer back to the parents and yelling at kids.nobody cares if parents ask to do something.some of teachers are just complaining about your kids and if parents gave some advice to do they never ever pay attention and with sarcastic way make you realise thanks to do my workand if parents said something about teachers.teacher will hold grudge about parents and ignoring parents to say hello and your kids have to pay the price in class like teachers ignoring them in the class.huge huge difference this year.please do something otherwise next year thinking to change the school. Thanks
I find it hilarious reading the reviews of disgruntled 'I got a chicken burger which I hated'. Westgrove is a fabulous, responsive school. They are completely student-focused and are a real asset to the community. I am proud to be part of the Westgrove 'family' and look forward to many years of partnership with them
Most of the teachers are pretty good and have a real passion for teaching, and encouraging students... The only thing I really dislike about the school is the assemblies! Two assemblies a week, that's around 50 minutes a week missing valuable learning time. Such a waste!
