Westfield Belconnen is a great shopping centre with a wide range of stores, food options, and services. Clean, well organised, and easy to navigate. The free parking is a big plus and makes visiting very convenient. A perfect place for shopping, dining, and spending time.
Has basics but needs renovating badly. The carpet is very 1970’s, the shopping centre very tired. Lacks any sort of positive energy or vibe, especially towards the HCF Dental, Westpac Bank end. Most of the shopping malls in Canberra are ordinary except the Canberra Centre. Even so, when you drive outside the Canberra Centre it has a grungy and unsafe feel. Kingston is an exception. Love it. Westfield Belconnen you can do better, much better. I don’t know why Westfield hasn’t invested more money in both Belconnen and Woden. Such a shame as Canberra is pretty and our capital after all…….needs polishing!!!!!! Sad shopping centre. Won’t go back.nnPs Dear Belconnen Centre Management, please note that it is pointless replying with a phone number that links only to your Concierge who can’t answer questions anyway. Once again very 1970’s. Concierge can’t transfer the call to you? A Westfield management centre office? Terrible service. As for the photo, I don’t see a difference between this photo and now except a tweak in your food court. Please note that if you’d like me to run a comparison with true world class shopping centres in what are sometimes third world countries please call and I can give you a well versed knowledgeable list. Replying in what you consider a clever way washes right over me and underlines how small minded Westfield Belconnen Management are.nnPlease enjoy some photos I’ve added of truely impressive shopping centres and aim a little bit higher. I should not waste my time to do reviews on locations who do not think they can do better. Forwarded to the Scentre Group. Belconnen Westfield it is no skin off my nose your centre is depressing. I don’t have to return. You do! I find it hilarious that you removed the photo I posted off your website and it appears last time your photos were updated was 8 years ago! My point exactly……
Very disappointing experience at GYG Westfield Belconnen.nnI stopped in before a movie and ordered a meal. From the moment I ordered, the customer service was poor. The Asain staff member serving me came across as rude and dismissive, and I was close to cancelling my order altogether, but I was hungry and short on time.nnWhen my order was called, I discovered that the two sauces I had ordered were missing. I politely asked about my garlic sauce and was abruptly told, “We don’t serve garlic sauce.” I explained that I had ordered two sauces but couldn’t remember exactly which ones. I simply wanted the sauces I’d paid for to go with my chips.nnMistakes happen, but what disappointed me was the attitude and lack of customer service when I tried to resolve the issue. As customers, we spend our hard-earned money expecting a basic level of courtesy and respect. There was no apology, no effort to help, and no attempt to make things right.nnThis was easily one of the poorest customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. If you work in customer service, treating customers respectfully should be part of the job.
I would like to acknowledge Aegon at the Concierge desk at Belconnen Mall for providing exceptional customer service.nnWe needed a mobility scooter for my elderly dad, and it was the very first time he had used one, so I was feeling a little anxious about the whole process. I was also worried about how I would get my elderly parents to the car at the other end of the mall and then have to return the scooter on my own.nnAegon’s patience, kindness, and genuine care immediately put me at ease. Without hesitation, Aegon offered to accompany us so that I didn’t need to make a separate trip back to return the scooter. It took a huge load off my mind and removed a lot of stress from the situation.nnWhat stood out most was that Aegon genuinely cared. We felt acknowledged, supported, and looked after throughout the entire experience. It’s rare to receive this level of customer service, and it made a real difference to our day.nnI cannot rate Aegon highly enough. An absolute credit to the Concierge team, and an example of customer service at its very best. Thank you for your kindness and support.
Great fun school holiday activity - the Toy Story colouring occupied the kids for ages. The staff were very friendly and helpful
