Lovers of fine hand crafted wares, clothing collectors, food fanatics and jewellery junkies are just a few of the people who make their way to Canberra’s famous Old Bus Depot Markets every Sunday.

In a fabulous old industrial building you will experience the endless colour, tastes, sounds and atmosphere that is “Canberra’s Sunday Best”. Find your favourite stallholder and visit the Markets on Sunday from 10am-4pm.

If you are looking for something to do on a Sunday morning, I would include the markets on your list. Situated next to the Canberra Glassworks I would do both. Unfortunately the markets are not as good as they used to be when they were full of stalls and the food court had a large array of different international cuisine but it is still worth a visit. The produce section part still has some amazing stalls with most having samples to try.
I always love visiting this hidden gem! There’s a great selection of food and accessories, but my favorite is the honey, it comes in so many flavors and tastes amazing. Just a heads up, it’s only open on Sundays until 2:30 PM, so make sure to stop by before then!
Great Sunday morning venue to wander, chill and eat. Cakes, coffee, savoury treats and fresh produce. Various arts and crafts on offer. A pleasant vibe with buskers in a few corners. Free parking and you can then visit the lake to finish off a super bougie Sunday morning.
Very cute market with different stalls to shop at. Something for everyone. Good food ,drinks, clothes, shoes, items of different sorts. Nice trip with the kids.
Lots of hand made crafts and friendly stall holders. Go with an empty belly as so many international food options
