Story

Lovers of fine hand crafted wares, clothing collectors, food fanatics and jewellery junkies are just a few of the people who make their way to Canberra’s famous Old Bus Depot Markets every Sunday.

In a fabulous old industrial building you will experience the endless colour, tastes, sounds and atmosphere that is “Canberra’s Sunday Best”. Find your favourite stallholder and visit the Markets on Sunday from 10am-4pm.

Fantastic stalls, I love visiting here when I'm in the area, but the facilities could definitely use a facelift... You really get the"Old" part of the name. Parking is a bit of a challenge unless you're early or lucky, there are times when cars just circle, waiting for someone to go. Still, worth it. The Honey stall is a must-have for tasting - what a range!

What a great market in a fantastic space! Amazing vintage finds, arts, food and plants. Definitely worth a look, really well organised and thoughtfully set out.

Fairly large craft market inside an old building, so protected from bad weather. Also, next door is the glass works which is worth a visit to see glass making in action

Great market. Some excellent food. Limited fresh produce. The best cherry pies on the planet and a large array of eclectic stalls and artists to please most people.

I love going for breakfast and free samples. Excellent place for gift shopping as well. If you have a specific idea many of the artisans will take requests for negotiated prices and later delivery. The food and produce available is also excellent.
