Western Australian Veterinary Emergency and Specialty (WAVES) located in Success, Perth, WA.
WAVES provides 24 hour care, with access to veterinary specialists in many different fields who work at the WAVES hospital. We're committed to providing the very best veterinary attention for your best friend around the clock.
Our emergency department can be called for free advice, when your vets are closed, if you have any concerns with the health of your pets after hours.
After hours when your vets are closed, if you think your pet needs emergency care we provide veterinary care without requiring a referral from your local vet. During the weekdays between 8-5pm your regular vet provides emergency and general care for your pet, but can refer your pet to one of our specialists or emergency vets if they think referral is in your pets best interests.

I was so impressed with the quality of service. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from reception, to the nurses and vets. The professionalism was second to none. Knowing my dog was getting the best care and treatment available made a horrible situation easier to deal with. Would definitely recommend this service without hesitation.

Amazing service even though they were crazy busy. What a delightful group of staff. Sarah looked after our dog and she was fantastic. Warm,  friendly yet thorough and professional. The diagnosis was spot on and our beloved dog is bouncing around again. Thank You!!!

Incredibly disappointed and frustrated! Referred to Waves Dermatology by my regular vet due to my dogs skin condition. Was not provided with any expectation of cost minus the initial consult fee of $200. I was provided with an costing 'estimate' AFTER they had already done the works (giving me no options), totally $1100+. Included in that was wastefulness, providing me with antibiotics that after 3 days when the results came back were not the right ones and I had to buy more. I understand speciality treatments come at a cost but consideration that I am not a millionaire and would need to prepare for the excess costs would have been appreciated. In addition, I have used their emergency services before, on another occasion for my other dog which I found very good.

Had very helpful and professional dealings with the lovely staff at WAVES last week. Everyone we came in contact with was caring and compassionate. Our greyhound had suddenly collapsed on his walk which of course was very distressing for us and him but the staff took over his care and put us at ease. They were all very caring and informative, especially Melinda who talked us through her diagnosis, the medication and future treatment for our boy. We were very impressed and couldnt fault any aspects of our dealings with WAVES. Thank you all very much.

I took my cat to WAVES after he was hit by a car. Upon arrival he was seen to immediately by a number of vets&nurses. I was in no doubt that he was receiving the best care possible. The staff were fantastic. Thank you!
