The table is a bit small for 3 people. Very friendly and cute staff described by my friend, he is really helpful Short hair, young and wear a blue Tee-shirt and light brown shoe The menu needs a bit improvement, I didn't know the pink ling is that oilish. Felt bit uncomfortable after eating half of it... The small dish is really small btw.
Great place to relax and enjoy a beer, coffee or meal with a range of settings from dining style to couches all set amongst a fresh and creative choice of theme with some great art that brings open spaces together nicely and adding to the character and relaxed feel . The central round bar is a brilliant centre piece and fits in well making the friendly service accessible from all points of the room .
Spacious and airy bar restaurant on Murray Street. It’s sort of stylish in a near industrial chic sort of way with a panoramic view of the Chemist Warehouse over the road. It was a quiet affair here when I wandered in around 4pm. There were only a few other people around and having a tipple. My monkey shoulder went down well though. But, just off the plane I was a little disappointed at the unavailability of a few olives to tide me over til dinner. “Kitchen’s closed...”, I was told, never the thing you want to hear. No other snack was suggested, not even something packeted. Things were a bit flat. Such is life. The drink was the right price though. I enjoyed it, the big space and the dance mix too and then was soon on my way to explore the Hobart streets.
Great staff. Atmosphere is calm and lovely. Fantastic chef with many options. Small options: eg - Wallaby and mash $18. Recommended.
Had a really nice meal. The share plates are really good value.
I promised but I'm a little late guys. On a recent visit to Hobart we went and had Dinner here. Love the look and atmosphere. Food outstanding... staff amazing. Michelle is an absolute gem!! Really impressed that they have such a great range of locally made Kraft Beers and Ciders. Sad I can't be a regular..... thankyou for having me
Great food and fantastic service. The prawn, betel, lime, sweet coconut and peanut small plate was one of the best things I have ever had. I think the beer selection is grear and my partner loved the wine she selected. We will be back soon
I went for breakfast, but couldn't resist having a few beers. The staff were very helpful and friendly, I ordered the baked eggs which comes with pancakes which were more like nan breads, the baked eggs came out in a fry pan on a bread board, word of advice don't touch the frying pan. The flavours were amazing, very original. You do pay alittle more but a good experience, I couldn't fault it
This place is incredible. The chef was seriously fantastic. We arrived a bit early and sat right next to the kitchen which were the best seats in the house. We were treated by the chefs themselves and were impressed right from the start. We ordered most of the thing on the menu and Could not flaw any of it. The kingfish, lamb, vegetables, banoffi were all to die for. The decor is simple an atmosphere is casual pub like. Will totally come back here again.
Met by very efficient friendly waiter who seated us first then took our order. Great smooth tasting coffee and mocha for my daughter - not too hot which we were able to enjoy immediately. She then had a sweet berry costata which turned out to be like shortbread pasty base with sweet& sour berries on top - delicious apparently! All in all a great place for morning tea...........
