So clean and so delicious. I was born and raised in a fish and chip shop owned by old school Greek parents. This place makes fish and chips the same way my dad did! They are always friendly and always busy. Fish cocktails are the perfect size for kids and the crumbed calamari yum! My husband who isn’t a massive fish fan loves their burgers and has said they are the best by far! Thank you guys you do an amazing job!
I Always get the fish pack. It's okay, the dim sim was good. Potato cakes are nice, they have a slight sweetness to the batter. The whole box is kinda small for what you pay for, when I hold it in my hand to the car I can't help but think "that's it?". Maybe they used to be bigger can't remember Most of the chips are never really that crispy even when you ask for extra crispy. Once you've eaten a bit of the meal, the chips that aren't absolutely fried to a crisp, those ones just become doughy and dry - about the level of supermarket fries honestly. Overall the fish pack is just kinda mid, I was more satisfied with the fried chicken and chips from next door, more value for similar prices. However, +1 to this store for their cleaner presentation and customer service, they're very nice. Haven't tried anything else on the menu. I guess I'd come here every once in awhile just for old times sake but nothing amazing.
I have been a resident for about 16 years and I have to say this is the best by far…. staff are and have always been friendly and the service is fast 95% of the time…. BUT since the COVID period things don’t seem the same. The food doesn’t have the same flavour as before. Don’t get me wrong the food is great just tasteless. I’ll still be a customer but would like the chips to be less soggy more salted and the burger meat to have the same seasoning as it was 3 years ago.
It is crispy chips and nicely battered flakes cooked nice. The fish was crispy outside, juicy inside. I would recommend this local place highly.
Had fish and chips somewhere else recently and was reminded how good my local fish and chip shop is. Reasonable prices and excellent quality.
Burgers, chips, seafood all top notch! No complaints. Staff are super friendly too! I have visited this business about a dozen times, & my family member has ordered online through Menulog. Highly recommended, with respect to quality all round & cleanliness.
They have the best food whether it's the fish and chips or the hamburgers. They cook everything fresh for you and the staff members are extremely courteous and nice. I simply love the ambience of the place. Highly recommended. 10/10
I brought a piece of grilled whiting beautifully cooked and 1 piece of flake lovely and fresh , lightly battered. Ordered 4 potato cakes got 6. Rang up and placed order they said will be ready in 10minutes as I arrived the order was ready. Good value for money and the shop is very clean. Excellent customer service and very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend them.
Best batter, crispy and fresh fish. My only issue is their burger buns need to be toasted. Using fresh untoasted buns makes burgers soggy and break apart from the juices of tomatoes, beetroot etc. Toasting the buns first will hold everything together, will taste better and add crunch. Try it!
Best flake I've had in years. Super fresh, crispy batter and unbelievably good!
