All the midwives were amazing could not fault them in anyway. It was a perfect experience for a new mother!

Disappointing experience. Infection control obviously not a priority in this establishment where nursing staff observed wearing multitudes of rings, bracelets etc but no gloves in a very bloody environment.  Intensity of contractions not adequately monitored due to “monitor not recognizing contractions”. So much for up to date technology.  Horrific experience watching your daughter’s preventable trauma and subsequent injury from an inadequately monitored induced labor that prevented adequate progression resulting in bilateral internal vaginal and labia tears.  Daughter not yet aware of this as no explanation given to her.  Simply told that her labor was short and intense due to her competitive nature. Nothing mentioned about how oxytocin speeds up the process.  I expected more from the Wesley

The midwives at The Wesley provided incredible care and helpful tips on dealing with a newborn. My husband refers to my time in the maternity ward as "baby bootcamp." I also liked that the maternity rooms felt homely and comfortable, more like a hotel and less like a typical hospital!
