I booked a flight with Flexible Fare Rules. Webjet are now refusing to honour those rules and claiming the flight is not refundable, or transferable. I've wasted countless hours, over multiple days trying to resolve this - meanwhile the flights for the new return date have been booking out fast and I'm now left with expensive flights at difficult times. Their call centre is understaffed and there is no way to escalate this. If you get "escalated" to Headoffice they say they will respond within 2 business days. Absolute joke and adding considerable stress to my wife who is already under immense stress dealing with significant health issues the reason for the flight. Update: its been 7 full days since my issue was "escalated" and Webjet have made precisely zero effort to contact me.
I have had a nightmare trying to use flight credits with Webjet. This is the third time I've tried to use the same credit since April and have been messed about every time. This time they've approved use of the credit and taken my money for the balance of the fare but are yet to issue a ticket. Departure is now 18 hrs away and I started this process several weeks ago. I have spent a fair portion of today on the phone trying to get the ticket issued with no success thus far. Once this is over I will never use or recommend Webjet again.
Just the worst I will never use Webjet again almost a scam, 0 assistance after the sale & no way to manage your booking, spent good money which they were happy to take but can't talk to the airline and can't talk to Webjet. Should be band as a scam from selling tickets.... hope you got broke Webjet So it's been some time since I wrote this review and no response from Webjet or any communication back from numerous emails, phone calls and online complaints and no refund....
Absolutely appalling service, and will never book through Webjet again. I’ve tried for 7 months to cancel a flight with no progress whatsoever. Getting closer to the flight date so I’ll have to put a request to change date to give myself more time, and then start the cancellation request all over again. This is just disgusting. I would recommend any other service to book flights through.
The most unprofessional customer service I have ever come across. They provide false and misleading information to you. Nobody seems to know what is going on. I have been lied to and given false information and when I try to resolve the issue I am told to resolve the issue myself by contacting accommodation that I had booked, which was booked by Webjet. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY, IT IS NOT WORTH IT! My advice would be to book through a reputable Travel Agent who will make any adjustments for you. Do not use FLIGHT CENTRE, another SHONKY COMPANY.
Never ever will I use Webjet again. Their Customer service is awful. Since January 2022 until now Oct 2022 I have been trying to resolve an issue. I have called this company numerous times, and are on hold for any time between an hour and half to two an half hours. All up on the calls I have spent hours on hold, and my issue is still not resolved. I asked for a number to escalate this issue, and was told they couldn’t give it to me. I now have to wait another 72 hours, before
I booked the flight to Fiji from Auckland, Due to some commitment i missed the flight, I tried to reschedule the booking wasted hours on chat and no help, was advised someone will call took 4-5 days and in the end no refund. The sad part is I was on my way to attend my mom funeral no empathy from the airline. If I had zero stars i would have used that. Customer service is useless and chat service is the worst to use.
Should be investigated. Atrocious, booked flights, simple name change, contact 5 times over 2 months, unbelievably bad, then finally made me pay 500 for another flight, then booked different departure time. Travelling with teenage females. So very very poor. I'll be spreading the word far and wide. DO NOT USE WEBJET.
Booked through webjet to avoid having to contact a small airline if I needed to change my flights. Called webjet 3 times and was very lucky and had great people on the line who promptly helped me to change my flights. Important to keep calling and following up progress and asking for requests to be made urgent!
Total ripe off 3X the price never using again Original booking price $ 8,704.39 Pay by Google Pay Includes Payment fees 0.37% Emirates Airline flights & fees 8,736.60 $32.21 i Amount to be charged now $ 8,736.60 on the other hand Emirates or Qatar airways would give you 1X ® if you buy direct from there website alogrithim for there website is fully loaded be aware in case you have an emergency never rely on Webjet peace
