Very busy but was able to get a table. Service was great and reasonably fast considering how busy it was. Loved the menu. Loved the food. Loved the look and feel of the diner. Will go back to try other meals off the menu. We were impressed with the young employee's service and politeness and were disappointed when she was berated multiple times in front of us by a manager while she was trying to serve us.
The service here was really good. We were served by a quiet but friendly and delightful young lady. We had a friand that they warmed up nicely. We also had Flower Pot Scones and they seemed to be freshly made for us but we couldn’t work out how so they were pretty good. In general a good place to visit with a eclectic decorated vibe. All good give it a visit
The top shelf of the cake cabinet is all Gluten free. These are the words we love to hear when a member of the family is Coeliac. Quirky, colourful, friendly and a quaint outdoor seating area in the back. It just makes you feel happy. So many cafes are closed by 2:30-3 but this little place was open till about 5. Fantastic when you are driving home from Sydney through the blue mountains.
This place was absolutely adorable. The food was classic diner food. The shrimp pivot was tasty but the amount of protein was kind of small. The zucchini cheese halloumi fritters were super tasty. The desert coffee was amazing! Highly recommend the mocha if you like something sweet
I enjoy coming here for the famous flowerpot scones but this time round they were a bit dry however they’re always served hot with a generous amount of jam & cream. Had the henhouse burger and chips which tasted good and portion size was great. Small busy place but we were served in a timely manner and the staff were friendly and welcoming too.
Had a great time here today with my friend. Everything was so yummy including the soup!! Honestly the cutest little cafe, so happy to have randomly stumbled across this place. Will defs be back here again soon.
PERFECT place for a hearty winter lunch, good service, experienced staff, quality food , delicious drinks...EXCELLENT FLAVOURS...thanks for giving us an INSTANT FREETABLE and making a drive to Leura worthwhile!! Keep it up - we will be back
Visited this diner that my parents used to take me to as a child and was glad to see they still have their iconic flowerpot scones on the menu. They’re no longer served in literal terra cotta pots but still very reminiscent. The portion has definitely decreased and the price … increased. However they still taste incredible. The diner has had a huge upgrade with a “Flo’s Diner” aesthetic. Unfortunately the staff aren’t too friendly, I was greeted by young teenagers that were too busy snickering at each other before noticing there were customers waiting to be seated. Tables were sticky when seated and so were the menus, great variety for food. Beware they do not have their own bathroom, you are ushered to use the city council bathrooms that are absolutely horrifying. Go before you go.
The Wayzgoose Diner is a very cute place! It’s decoration makes it seem like it’s straight from a movie and the music playing is absolutely fantastic. The food that’s being served, as well as the dessert options are very tasty and served in good sizes. The only more negative aspect is the serving staff, the service is quite slow, which was a little frustrating.
The decoration, vibes and customer service was very nice. The food however was average at best. The Cajun waffles had slices of American cheddar, pickles, some Dijon mustard and a big piece of southern fried chicken. The chicken did not have much flavour and the meat was rathe dry. It tasted like the chicken was fried in oil that was not hot enough or it was fried for too long. The blueberry hotcakes did not have much to it. It came with jam and clotted cream but it felt like we had to pour the maple syrup all over the hotcakes to get some decent flavour. The hillbilly cider apple and root ginger was recommended and it tasted amazing even though it cost $5 a bottle. Overall, it was a nice experience but I’m not too keen to come back for the food.
