I love rye sourdough bread and found the bakery via Google.  It is a small shop at the end of the town centre of Leura. Bought a loaf and came back early the next morning for another loaf. Certainly a good rye sourdough loaf for anyone visiting with a taste for this wonderful Rye Organic Sourdough.

Love their pies! The pastry is so flakey, the casing is so soft, and the filling is flavourful and sooooo much! Definitely our food highlight during our trip at the blue mountains! Highly recommend the kangaroo one is not sold out yet, even our kids loved it.

These might be the best pies I have ever had. You can definitely tell that they are baked fresh and the pumpkin, feta & lentil is actually amazing. I must admit that sometimes my family goes to the Blue Mountains just to come here...

We had a mince beef pie, a plain croissant and a spinach ricotta roll. They are all good. I personally enjoy the croissant the most. I just wish it could be heated up... but understandable, given there was a long queue and not enough staff...

Weird vibes. Staff we’re doing their best, but man who ever is in charge of the aggressive signs throughout the venue needs to cheer up. Couldn’t be more unwelcoming if you tried. Tasty food tho.

The pies are very nice.  The constitution of the breads is far too cakey, sourdough should not be that texture in my opinion.  The service is usually extremely slow and the vibe generally is quite unwelcoming.  They would do well to do away with the negative signs around the place, smile and speed up the service by a factor of about 3.

Have they changed owners? I've had 5-6 amazing pies from here on past trips, but the one I had today was so soggy the bottom that it was inedible without a spoon. Beef was all dried out too. Sadly I doubt I'll keep coming back now.
