Is it possible to have too much meat in a kebab? It's all subjective. These kebabs are HUGE! Not much salad in them, but heaps of meat. The chicken meat is from a roast chicken. Delicious. The family serve of chips are enormous. Gets very busy, so there can be a wait. A good sign. Make noodles and rice dishes as well.
Nice place to grab a quick hot meal. The staff is very friendly, the service is quick and the taste is pretty good. The burgers are our favourite. They are huge and are juicy. The focaccia roles are equally delicious. The chips are always crispy and hot. The chicken is juicy, nicely flavoured and they give an additional piece on the house once in a while. They are very generous with the fries as well. The freshly cooked noodles and rice is also pretty good. The salads are fulfilling and pretty heavy. They have a decent selection on the drinks as well. Also, there is parking available right in front of the store if you are lucky.
Is it a large size potato chip? I ordered small size I was surprised that there was a lot. And Mi goreng was too sweet for me
Myself & family picked up a family chicken combo & a few sides today on our way home and it was awesome. The chicken was perfectly grilled, seasoned & juicy. Sides were fresh & everything was a great portion size & value for money. Staff friendly & warm too. We will be back!
We ordered takeaway. The charcoal chicken is perfectly grilled - well seasoned, moist and juicy. My family and my parent's favourite too. They also have a good variety of side dishes too. Very near to The Glen Price is very reasonable.
The scenes have changed around Glen Waverley Charcoal Chicken over the years, but this wonderful little takeaway chicken shop has remained strong. I have been going here since the early 90s. Management has changed, but the value for money and food quality hasn't. And staff are just as lovely as those previously there. It's definitely the go-to charcoal chicken shop for a snack or takeaway meal.
I come here all the way from Ferntree Gully it is that good. The chips are always very crunchy. Good HSP size and the chicken roll is super good value.Food: 5/5
Got a $10 quarter chicken combo, and got a box so full of chips I almost couldn't find my chicken. And the chicken was great. It's a shame I won't visit Glen Waverley again otherwise I'll definitely come back.Food: 5/5
Excellent chips. Tasty chicken. Love the menu mix. Charcoal chicken, chips, salads, souvlaki and noodles. Parking: Hard to park due to the number of businesses and proximity to the Glen Shopping center. Often better to park round the corner and walk. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible due to a door sil.
Good chips. Chicken well cooked. They offer asian takeaway as well which I had for the first time. Not as good as the chips and chicken. Recommended
