Terrible horrible experinces with the services from Waverley Family Healthcare Pinewood. I've visited a few medical center around Mt Waverley, and this one is the worst. Initially, I found the doctor and receptionist's speech to be unfriendly and somewhat bossy, but I didn't mind it much at the time. During my initial appointment, the doctor promised to send my blood results by Friday evening, or Monday at the latest. Unfortunately, nothing happened by the end of Monday.nnI called them and made an appointment for Tuesday morning, but two hours passed with no call. When I called to follow up, they said they didn't know why the appointment was canceled but scheduled another one for 3:20 PM. At 12:05 PM, concerned that the appointment might be canceled again, I called to ensure the doctor would call me. I was assured it would happen.nnHowever, two hours after the appointment time, at 5:20 PM, I still hadn't received a call. I called again and was told by a receptionist that they could make another appointment for the next morning, but it may or may not be charged, depending on the doctor. This information conflicted with what the doctor told me during my first visit, where she clearly stated that follow-up appointments would not be charged. I set up an alarm at 9 AM to avoid missing the call from the doctor. Unfortunately, I spent the whole day waiting, and no one cared about it.nnI am still unsure if someone will call me tomorrow or not. I am also concerned about whether there is anyone reliable at this centre as different people telling different thing.
Doctors consistently run late, showing little urgency for waiting patients. I experienced a 40-minute delay for my appointment without any apology. When I mentioned my fear of flying, the doctor exacerbated my anxiety by detailing potential in-flight issues. Although the practice previously offered bulk billing and has since switched to private billing, the patient before me was still bulk billed, yet I was refused. I will not be returning and will advise others to avoid this practice.
I visited Pinewood Clinic today at 7:50 PM for an appointment with Dr. Vijesh Soni as my 10-month-old son had a runny nose, was hardly eating, and had been vomiting for the past day. Upon arrival, the receptionist advised us to wait in the car and confirmed he would call us. When we received a call from the receptionist, we were advised to do a RAT test for our 10-month-old son.nnWe went to the pharmacy within the clinic and bought a box of 5 RAT test units for $35 you can get it for $14 at Woolies. After completing the test, which came up negative, we went back to the receptionist who requested to see the result and then directed us to go upstairs and wait in a room until Dr. Soni arrived. The receptionist closed the door behind us.nnIt took the GP 15 minutes to show up. He asked about the COVID result and then proceeded to check my son. He inquired about how many times we changed our son's nappy and advised us not to use the same nappy when our son does a poo. We informed him that we always use a new nappy each time he does a poo or pee. This advice seemed unrelated to our son's symptoms of a runny nose and phlegm.nnThroughout the entire visit, we were treated as if we were COVID patients, which we were not. To those reading this review, please save your money and time and find a better clinic. Do not waste your time here.
Absolutely disappointed in my visit to this Medical Centre from walking in with No acknowledgement from reception desk when finally I was rudely asked how we can help I requested to see a Dr to which they responded what today? I said Yes that’s why I am here I don’t have an appointment but would like to see a Dr then they said you will need to come back at 1:30pm. I said ok that’s fine I will make the appointment with a Dr. I also asked is this Bulk Billing they said it’s up to the Dr to decide. This really didn’t make a sense how can a Dr decide you he wants to charge and who he doesn’t? This should be a medical service Centre not a Business where you can make as how you like. I came back at 1:30am waited another 45 minutes then to be called in by Dr Soni asked me to sit down and asked what was wrong? I told him what I was experiencing to which he wrote down and said no need for medication go home and rest and drink vitamin c. I was out of there in 10 minutes NO care, NO understanding or listening to the patient most importantly no solution to my issues he was in a different world and wanted to move to next patient. I walked out of there with NO medication to get better. What was the point of going to a DR if there is absolutely nothing he can do but charge a fee for 10 mins of $82. I asked him can I do bulk billing he straight away said NO and got defense making me feel like I was a nuisance to be there.nI have never experienced this behavior or attitude before todays DR are not providing Medical service but running a Business charging patients and not caring and showing any support by providing the professional medical service every patient needs when in pain.nAt payment on the reception desk the man was again so rude as if he was going to argue with me. I felt like I was a liability to the medical Centre. I will never ever go back to this medical Centre.nWorst Doctors in this medical clinic Dr Vijesh Soni is my option a Doctor did not understand or care or provide and prescription medication for me to get better. The man is front receptionist was so rude to every patient before me and to me he wanted to argue and was talking down to people. Stay away from this clinic it’s not a medical Centre it’s a money making business your just a number for 10mins.
I had an appointment scheduled for 8:10 AM, but unfortunately, I experienced a delay of 20 minutes before being seen. I understand that occasional delays can occur, but it was Sunday morning so it doesn’t make much sense. Receptionist's attitude was quite unprofessional and left a negative impression. Her behavior was dismissive and lacked the courtesy I would expect in a professional setting.nOn a positive note, Dr. Stanley was very good and helpful, which I greatly appreciated. However, the overall experience was not as satisfactory as I had hoped due to the initial interaction.nnI wanted to bring this to your attention in the hope that it helps improve the patient experience in the future.
