Great budget stay, the rooms have been tastefully renovated and the beds are comfortable. Very clean- it is obviously a well kept place. There was an occasional waft of smoke from the smoking area but apart from that I had a very relaxing night. Will stay again when next in town.
It’s a great place to stay while in Hobart. We had our first visit to Tasmania and this place offered us to stay in one of their 3 Bedroom Houses which had an amazing view and also had enough amenities. The house is located nearby the motel and is very quiet and has the best view. The staffs are very friendly and make you welcomed. I would like to highly recommend this place for your visit to Tasmania.
Budget hotel, serves its purpose. Two major issues: parking and noise. Parking lot is absurdly small, not nearly enough spots for the number of rooms and difficult to maneuver anything larger than a child’s bicycle. Three+ point turns just to get in and out of the parking lot, if you get in there and find every spot taken good luck reversing out.nHotel is nominally non-smoking but people smoke, smell comes in through the doors from parking lot and surrounding rooms.nJust drywall separating rooms, two guys in the room next to me having a conversation at a normal level and could hear every word. Turned on the television just to cover the sound. TV at normal volume will be heard in nearby rooms. If anyone on either side of you gets in late or leaves early expect to hear it.nOtherwise fine for a budget hotel. Has a comfortable bed. Small, but reasonable for the price. Fifteen minutes to the airport.

Great price and location! I really enjoyed my 2 days at Waterfront Lodge Motel. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped.
