Great place just 2 minutes drive from the main entrance. Food was excellent we had breakfast and the crocodile chocolate that came with the coffee was a great touch. Outdoor seating has a view over the paddock which has kangaroos and koalas in it. The food was also very good value for money, has a small selection of gifts that aren’t available in the main Zoo
As locals we came for Breakfast. This restaurant was lovely looking over the Lodge Pool and Gardens. The breakfast was lovely and tasted great. The coffee was so good. Service was fantastic and everyone was friendly, cheerful and lovely. The bathroom was great, really thought out and very clean. Prices were extremely reasonable. The enclosures were an unexpected addition.
We went to Australia zoo for the day and decided to come here for lunch as it’s only a 3 minute drive away. The prices are super decent as in, a burger meal from this restaurant is the same price as the cafeteria in the zoo! and the food was delicious!! Highly recommend the fish, incredibly soft. The staff were all super kind and the atmosphere was perfect! Whilst you sit and eat, there are kangaroos and an emu in front!nAnyone around the area or visiting the zoo, it is 100% worth the visit!nWe will definitely be coming back next time we are around the area, so yummy! It was a great way to end our trip
Our third stay at the Lodge and Warrior Restaurant hasn’t disappointed. We enjoyed six nights with breakfast every day and three dinners in total one room service. Miss 11 loved everything on the kids menu, especially the chicken tenders for dinner, and the milk shakes and pancakes for breakfast. I tried almost everything on the menu and couldn’t fault anything.nnServes are generous and prices match the quality and effort of menu design and food execution. Beautiful and well done.nnThe drinks menu is extensive and also family friendly … plenty of mocktails and kids options!nnThe service is top notch yet friendly and by no means snooty. 100% we will be back. I would highly recommend.
This is a beautiful venue with luscious greenery and a spacious open design. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food was tasty, especially the kids fish and chips. We also ordered the lamb cutlets, the rendang beef curry and kipfler potatoes. Thanks for having us :
