Disputes Tribunal referee was useless in my car liability matter put before her.Very biased and didn't want to hear what I submitted. She couldn't do the basics in seeing the wood for the trees i.e. seeing that the respondent and witness were changing their stories in the hearing from their original diagrams submitted. They were trying to align their accounts in the hearing with the damage to both vehicles, but verbal accounts in hearing were different to their diagrams first submitted.Mine stayed the same all throughout showing I was truthful. She didnt even refer to her reference material though it was all filed neatly giving a facade of being organized. In hearing she accepted that i didnt turn, but in her decision she said i'd turned. She came to conclusion that sidescrape damage (actual damage was no deep indentation cave just long serious scrape damage along my left side ) happened with other car hitting me from a 45 degree angle??!?? I saw it done from 90 degree angle which is more plausible, but version she saw as impossible. What she'd accepted was impossible. A 15 year old could have done better than this incompetent lady. She gave an air of haughtiness and bias from the start. She found me liable but I know to this date i wasnt at fault. Very unfair. Life will level out for people like these. If you ever manage to get over yourself referee, you'll see you're not as 'Perfect' as you make yourself out to be. Was apprehensive going into tribunal process. Now I've been through it (1st time ever as with 1st time in accident in long time driving ) i am not impressed and know how biased process can be based on this one experience. Rating would be no or -10 stars if was able to give it.
