I spoke with Shannon today from waikanae health and she was so helpful and so amazing to deal with. She was happy to assist me with everything I needed.  As well as being able to provide additonal information regarding my appointments and my online portal. Truly appreciate amazing customer service like this. Shannon most definitely deserves a pay rise!

Given Covid and the pressures of shortages of health staff in my experience dealing with my elderly Dad’s health issues and my own, this practice does an amazing job. Follow up has been great especially with Covid and much appreciated. So sad that funding did not continue for their physio who was amazing a false economy - when will govts ever learn early intervention and ready access to primary health saves money and lives?!. Fees are pricy when compared to family members other practices elsewhere eg Hutt, Wellington, Dunedin but we live here so c’est la vie.

We have had a positive experience with Waikanae Health Centre over the past eight years. Our GP, Mark, is always kind and very thorough with our family's health care. Responses from staff have been mostly quick, polite and helpful.nThe only issue I ever had was with the online booking system being 3 weeks or more out, but this was more of a misunderstanding of the system if you want a quick visit, you need to call for assessment first. This could be more explicit so I complained about this, and their response was understanding, polite and professional.

I called in today with a medical issue and the receptionist was so very helpful and managed to get me an appt with Dr Jesse, who saw me this afternoon. I was in a great deal of pain and I truly appreciate the clinic's quick and efficient response to my issue. Thank you to the staff involved, and as usual I have nothing but good things to say about your practice. Thanks, guys!

Attentive doctors and staff; They are polite and very helpful. We understand the shortage of GP, but good thing everytime we need to consult our GP we are always given a slot.nShout out to our family doctor- Dr. Balster your kindness, sincere caring, and concern makes everything better.
