Great coffee, superb Belgian waffles and French-style baguettes are available at this european-style small cafe in Degraves Street, located next to the subway entrance from Degraves Street down to the Flinders Street station.

The baguettes are delicious, make sure you get the pickles along with them.

This is the best place for French Baguette Sandwich. A bit busy at lunch hour but you will get the true french treat. Love the roast beef sandwich and waffles. Try mikado too.

Love this owner and his fab baguettes! They are made that morning fresh, loads of fillings...first class.  Marc  is also hillarious and a really good person.

Awesome customer service! They allowed me to eat at the Grill restaurant opposite the road which is very accommodating considering I would want to be able to dine in for waffles! Waffles are nice and simple. Will be back definitely!

I can't believe the bad reviews for this place, it's a Melbourne institution. Not sure about the waffles as have never tried them, but the baguettes are first class. They are massive, tasty, crunchy and just delicious, and the French owner is a legend. Do yourself a favour and check this place out.

Honestly the owner is lovely and a great chat and easy to get along with, the waffles are delicious

So sad to see this amazing place has been review bombed. I always loved getting waffles here every morning - hot, fresh & chewy. Baguettes also great. This place has a lot of character... And that includes the Frenchman owner?. If you can't deal with someone with a quirky personality... maybe stick with Starbucks?
