Delicious, well presented/interesting food with a small but solid selection of drinks and decent service. 

Usually you can just walk in but booking during busy periods is a good plan. 

If possible get seating in the garden out the back, main restaurant is okay but outdoor area looks far better. Street seating as is always the case with Smith St is not ideal....

Seriously amazing food at super reasonable prices. Absolutely huge portions for dinner from Bento and curry dishes. If you're there, get the Tuna Salad, I've gotten it in every visit, it's so damn good.

Serving sizes are quite small but not too pricey which lets you try a range of delicious Japanese dishes. Great place to go with a few friends so you can try a range from the menu

Had good sushi, however they don't serve sushi anymore but random dishes (profit margin problem?). Also they open at 12, yet when i walked in at 11.55 the girl was crawling on the table (which people eat on) and said "sorry we open at 12". That is fine except why would you leave the door open? is it that difficult to start 5 minutes early when the food was all pre-made in the display?. Fakeness disguised as politeness.
