I have been going to Volume hair for approximately 9 years now and could not be happier. All the staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. Tess has been my hairdresser over the last five years and I could not compliment her enough on her colouring for blondes. She is perfect weaving through the blonde with her foils. This is has been my hair salon since 2011. Doesn't matter that I no longer live close by, I travel to get my hair done here. Amazingly service. Ability for them to get my hair to any colour blond, pink, purple is amazing. Great cut as well. And best of all, affordable prices.
This is a very friendly hair salon. I've had some great cuts here and very economical. You can choose how much or how little they do. For example if you just want the cut without the wash first and styling after then that's all you pay for. Conversely if you want the works that's also available
My daughter came for a simple cut, after an hour after the appointment time, with no aknowledgement of her sitting waiting she received a cut that wasn't what she asked for. After arriving home and showering it was evident that the edges were uneven and badly cut - it looks like it was chewed rather than cut. No resolution was forthcoming from the salon having raised these issues. Stay away if you value your hair
I had my haircut there on Tuesday afternoon. I just had the regular wash and cut. Not a problem with my hairdresser. I was looking forward to getting my hair washed. I gather she was a apprentice cause she really didn't do a good job washing it! Missed the top and I had to actually give it a proper wash when I got home..so for haircut, & terrible with the wash
I went to get my haircut recently here for quite a big change. I haven't had bangs in a while so i wanted to try curtain bangs. i asked the lady for my hair to be thinned and for layers all throughout the hair and in the front to frame my face. She proceeded thru the haircut to tell me she was only going to mainly do layering in the back?? I even showed her a reference photo multiple times. Then when she got to the front of my hair she cut the shortest most unforgiving bangs and I didn't know how to tell her she just messed it up completely. They were way too short and looked like bangs i cut myself when i was 16. Later on i found out my friend had been there once too and they fried her bleached hair. Everyone was very lovely in there but some of them simply don't know how to cut hair or listen to the client effectively. I'm now going to be bobby pinning the front of my hair for the next 6 months :Service: Hairstyling
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Paid almost $70 for just a normal haircut when the advertised price was $35. I’ve paid less at other hairdressers and gotten better service. Oh and blow drying your hair at the end is an extra 10 bucks, unless you’re happy to walk out of the salon with wet hair.
Paid $85 for a “blow wave”. The hair stylist just blow dried my hair and then asked to use tongs. Sat through an hour of her pulling my hair out, whilst I told her that’s not what I wanted. My friend was up next and had the same experience. Eventually the complaint was actually heard and another stylist came to fix, with tongs and offered to fix mine too. 2 and a half ours later we were able to leave in shock of spending $165 for a “blow wave”… JUST GO TO BLO OUT BAR ITS 75$ for long hair, with salon products, in Prahan with an actual hair stylist.
Worst experience ever. They were running 30 mins late, showed a photo of what I wanted and got the complete opposite. Then to be told it looked good when it wasn’t what I asked for and that it couldn’t be changed because of the amount of hair spray. Was charged $80 for this. When home and took it out! Oh and was also late for my event..Service: Hairstyling
