Has historically been the best in new plymouth with Good chips and best portion size, idk if new owners or what but this most recent time the chips were not as nice and the portion size was far smaller. In the past it has been 5 stars, based on this 1 recent visit it's 2-2.5

Honestly the best fish and chips I've ever had!!

Good friendly takeaways that are reliably good at fish and chips.  Have a good menu including real pāua fritters.

We get an order every Friday and we always enjoy the tasty battered oysters, fish and some chips. They are cooked perfectly

I asked what the fresh fish was and the lady looked at me like I was dumb Since the new owners have taken over it has quickly gone from the go to fish shop to probably the WORST fish and chip shop in New Plymouth DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY GO ELSEWHERE

Fish was fresh, huge filets, crispy light batter. Super tasty chips.  Great friendly service and cooked very fast. Highly recommend

Very good service, definitely value for money I can feed my family of 5 for $22. Large size scoop of chips, I often buy a scoop to go with dinner and 1 scoop is plenty for the 5 of us. I won't go anywhere else.

Amazing burgers, chicken & fish burgers are huge and delicious, crispy chips. Fish can be greasy, but we love it, has become our local. Be warned, it gets very busy, especially on Friday nights. So either phone ahead or be prepared to wait!
