The most authentic Northen Vietnamese street foods I've tried in Sydney. Bun cha is amazing. I have come back countless times and still craving the juicy grilled pork there. You can smell it from the end of Illawarra road.

Ordered a grilled lemongrass pork vermicelli with spring roll.nI’ve been here 2years ago, was betternSauce are very watery, not much taste at all. Taste like water. Pork are very thin and dry, in small pieces, no lemongrass herbs or other spice at all. Not much flavor overall.nSorry to give you a bad review, but it can be much better by giving customers some good ingredients.
Tried VN Street Food and really enjoyed it! The dishes were flavorful, fresh, and felt like true Vietnamese comfort food. Everything was well-cooked and satisfying. I’d rate it 4/5 — definitely a solid spot if you’re craving good, casual Vietnamese food. Would come back to try more dishes!
We had originally planned to eat from the original pork roll shop — it had been nearly 10 years since our last visit. But as we walked past VN Street Food, which had more Asian diners than any other café or restaurant along the Marrickville strip, it felt only right to stop and try something new.nWe ordered their signature dish, Bún Chả Hà Nội, along with Bánh Cuốn and Bún Chả bún thịt nướng. Everything was absolutely delicious. Towards the end of the meal, we noticed the broth leaned a little sweet, but that didn’t stop us — we polished off every bite.nWhen I got home, I told my son he’d be having leftovers because I’d eaten out for lunch. As soon as I mentioned we’d been in Marrickville, he said, “I know where you should have gone.” But when I told him we’d eaten at VN Street Food, he nodded and said, “Good choice — I’ve eaten there a few times. The food’s great!”
