The Vietnamese rice rolls are quite nice here. The pork soup is good as well.nnSaigon salted coffee is a first for me and I like it. I couldn’t believe salted coffee can be this nice.nnWe were seated in the alley and it’s like we were transported to Asia. It’s interesting and nice.nnThere was a long queue when we were there but it moves quickly.nnRecommended.
I enjoyed eating at Banh Cuon Ba Oanh. The restaurant specialises in steamed rice rolls however they also serve a range of rice and noodle dishes.nnI ordered the steamed noodle rolls with prawn and pork $15. They were tasty! The rolls were slippery smooth with a slight chew to them. The dipping sauce was so well balanced in terms of flavour with no element of it overpowering the others. The dish also came with some fresh mint and lettuce as well as some pickled vegetables. All elements ate well together. I also liked the addition of fried shallots sprinkled over the top of the rolls and found it added a nice textural feel to the dish.nnMy friend ordered the yellow sticky rice with free-range chicken $15. It was tasty, too!nnService was excellent. The restaurant is understandably busy, but service was very efficient, friendly, warm, and helpful. Staff were cheerful and working hard.

The pork and mushroom filling was well-seasoned, and everything came together perfectly with the Vietnamese sausage, fresh herbs, and dipping sauce. The fish sauce was balanced — not too sweet or too salty — just right for dipping and bringing out the flavors.nnThe place was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful, and polite. Even though it was a bit busy when I arrived, the service was still quick and efficient.nnI also tried the chicken sticky rice xôi gà — it was okay, nothing special. Not bad, just pretty average. If I come back, I’ll definitely stick with the bánh cuốn.nnOverall, a great spot for authentic Vietnamese bánh cuốn. I’ll definitely come back again!

The passionfruit iced tea was fruity and zingy, an excellent palate refresher. But the matcha coconut stole the show—no soda here, just a lush, creamy blend that married earthy matcha with sweet coconut in the most soothing way. This spot nails casual dining with serious soul. It’s unpretentious, thoughtfully crafted, and full of heart.
