Incredibly large space utilised well.nThis site pretty much has everything. Clothing, homewares, kitchenware, craft, and even furniture.nIt would be helpful for them to section clothing into sizes.nThere is a large area which houses books, and homewares, glassware and manchester.nAs with all of these larger op shop chains, pricing is inconsistent, and generally overpriced on majority of what is in stock.nBeing housed in close proximity to multiple op shops, this store would be one to check out on a day trip of op shopping.
Not the usual standard of a Vinnie's. There's nothing particularly nice here. If all your looking is cheap basics clothing it's fine but anything a little nicer don't bother.nI found all the other op shops in the area exactly the same. Definitely a waste of a trip and time.
Some prices are on the steeper side, but I love this op shop. Always manage to find something interesting while I'm here. Very well laid out and have always received great customer service.
Found a decent little handbag up on the wall that didnt have a price. I went to inquire about it thinking it’d be a decent $20 for the condition it was in. The no brained employee than proceeds to tell me that its going to be $100 because “fossil bags online sell for like $1000”….. THE WAY I SCOFFED IN HER FAVE BECAUSE NO THEY DO NOT i literally looked it up they go for barley $100, and mind you the bag had STAINS on it. As a “not for profit” organisation this is EVIL.
Extremely overpriced!nnI love op shopping for fun, but I think vinnies needs to remember some people have no choice but to shop at op shops for all their needs. With the cost of living crisis it is such a shame to see a “charity” shop costing more than retail shops.nnAlso the “managers choice” section is an obvious way for them to up the price on second hand “brand name” items.nnOld, very worn pyjama pants, $15 because they were “Peter Alexander” brand.nnHonestly Kmart is cheaper than vinnies
