Very pleased with the experience we had here. We were helped by the wonderful Melanie and another lady whose name I'm sorry I didn't catch. Both staff members were very helpful, know their stuff and were patient with us while we made our choices. The furniture is lovely, great selection and reasonably priced. Very happy to support this local business.
does not even deserve 1 star. my 80 year old grandmother purchased something over the phone because she is unable to leave the house. completely different furniture to what she wanted when they dropped it off. they came and picked it up and now won’t give a refund. the manager is a horrible person with no customer service skills at all. the manager trying to talk down to me and his last words “don’t bother me again”.
Customer service was informative. Knowledgeable on colour and fabric as well as having numerous configurations, sizes and additions. All well explained to me at point of purchase. My only complaint is that I was told that I would receive my purchase with the next container delivery arrival September2mnths. Unfortunately, still waiting......................

I purchased a bed frame and mattress and paid for delivery and assembly. The employees who delivered it did not have all the required tools and had to borrow my drill to assemble the bed. After four months of having it, the frame came apart at the head of the bed. I rang Village Furniture to ask if warranty would cover it and/or if they would replace the faulty bedhead. I was rudely informed that I would need my receipt and that I would have to email them photos, which I supplied with no issue. I called them the next day as I had not heard back and once again I was spoken to in an extremely rude manner by Jeanette. They had not even read my email as evidenced by the five minutes of phone silence before I was told that despite paying for my bed to be positioned and assembled, I MUST have dragged it even though the bed was in the same position where it was originally assembled. Despite the photos I sent exhibiting that the bed had never been dragged from its original position, they decided that was why the bed had broken and I would have to fix it myself. While I was fixing my bed that was only four months old, I found the screws that were holding my bed together were only 15mm long, only entering the timber by 5mm. My allegedly solid bed frame is actually hollow and is comprised of four bits of timber glued together. This cost me $1500. I have had to fully alter the bed to make it safe to sleep on, which I was incorrectly informed would not alter my warranty. This is false as the structure of the bed is now different. I will never be shopping here again and refuse to recommend this store to anyone else.

These people really know their stuff! They helped me pick out the right piece of furniture for a particular spot, and then helped me match it with the right colours and fabric. Definitely be back!
