We are so happy with our mother's transition into residential care at Villa Serena. Maree made the process seamless and had endless empathy for all of our tears and questions during the transition process. The care of the nurses and other staff is incredible. Everything that I have witnessed has indicated a high level of integrity of staff and respect and care for our dear Mum and other residents. I've been so touched to see her relationships build with staff members and other residents. Five weeks in, she is happier than we have seen her in a few years and raves about the food. Five stars all the way from us. Thank you to all at Villa Serena, we think you are doing an amazing job.

We were very fortunate recently to be able to place our elderly Mum at Villa Serena. From the initial meeting & tour the manager Maree Hutton has been amazing, very welcoming with a personable warm caring manner. The staff are just wonderful & Mum has settled in so well. The meals are 5 star and the cleanliness of the home is to be congratulated. We were referred to Villa Serena by others who have experienced the very same. Simply the best on the Gold Coast!

My mother has been in Villa Serena for approximately 2 months following a fall. We have so much gratitude for Maree Hutton and all the Staff for making Mum's time there the best it can be.nThe Staff are always delightful, caring and helpful.nThe Villa itself is delightful and beautifully clean and well-maintained.nThe meals are always delicious and nutritious and Mum has settled in so well, in spite of our trepidation.nThank you so much to everyone at Villa Serena.

I recently toured this beautiful facility it was such a big discussion when moving my mum into age care. Maree the manager made everything so simple as we could not under stand the fees and charges due to how complex they are, she took the time to explain it all and made us feel at ease with the whole situation. My mum is now living here and I can’t speak highly enough about villa Serena. If you are looking for a caring age care home I suggest visiting villa Serena.

The team at Villa Serena are awesome and we're so lucky to have been able to get mum into their care.nnWe first contacted the GM Maree when we were desperate to place mum into respite prior to seeking a permanent placement. We'd temporarily placed mum in another 'supposedly 5 star' aged care facility in Merrimac, where her treatment was appalling and we had to take her out of the there. From what we have experienced, there are big variations in the standard of care delivery for these most vulnerable members of our community.nnMaree was amazing. She actively worked with us to find the best accommodation for mum which ultimately ended up being in Viletta, the dementia ward. Anyone who has a relative suffering from this terrible disease will know how hard it can be to work with them when you're transitioning them out of their home because they can no longer safely reside there.nnAll of the nurses, carers and support staff have been wonderful to mum. She has settled well into Villa Serena, has a routine and I'm sure the many interactions she has with the team help her maintain her social skills. It's wonderful for my brother and I to come in some days and get glimpses of the mum we used to know. I'm sure that this would not be the case if the Villa Serena team did not constantly focus on their clients wellbeing. In the first aged care facility we placed her in she was neglected and there was little interaction - in Villa Serena, there is a constant stream of staff members on hand to see to the residents needs.nnOur sincere thanks to Maree and the team for taking such wonderful care of mum - it wasn't an easy decision to place mum into care. Thank god that places like Villa Serena exist to give you the confidence that your loved one is being cared for with compassion and dignity.
