Vietnam Gourmet Restaurant has been in business since 2000. We provide authentic Vietnamese cuisine and during the evenings we offer steam boat buffet. Various options to cater for vegetarians, please ask one of our staff.

Walk in's welcome but to guarantee yourself a table during the weekend please book. We can cater for large parties please message to inquire.

The steamboat buffet is available only in the evenings and includes dessert plus soft drinks.

Sadly, this is not authentic Vietnamese food. I ordered Vietnamese beef spicy noodle soup but it tastes like normal spicy noodles soup. However the price is cheap, around $16 -$20 per dish. Customer service was good. They used to have hot pot buffet but they didn't have it on the day I came.Recommended dishesSpecial Beef Noodle Soup

Very tasty food and we were both enjoying our dining experience. Will go back to try the buffet next time .

Food is great. Handmade dumplings. Great selection of ingredients for hot pot buffet.  It’s really great for small group as only small pot so easy to overflow so if in ur group like spicy n some don’t would be problem. Lol.

Better than Sam Woos I reckon! The spring rolls are the absolute best and their soups never cease to be amazing! My kids love this place too! Place isn’t super duper flash but it’s very accomodating and nice : Thank you Cindy for your amazing service, food and team!

Has been a favorite dining venue for 15 years minimum and still loving it September 2022! Have taken along our parents, family, friends, friends of friends, ALL our children and EVERYONE leaves happy and soo satisfied. Great staff and an absolute incredible eating 'steam boat' must do. AAA++++

We love Vietnam Gourmet. Steamboat is so awesome, so many great options to eat. Its great how everything is included for the one price. Im sure ordering off the menu is good, but we always opt for steamboat.

Food was brought out very quickly. Service was nice. Food was delicious. Vietnamese coffee was not as strong as back in Vietnam and ice was too thick but that's normal for NZ. I would go back again. But not for the coffee. Lol

This has been our go to place for over 21 years. They have never disappointed. The energy is lively. service prompt and food authentic. Recommend you try it out you’ll keep coming back. Steam boat all you can eat a vast range hot and cold foods including drinks n dessert. A place to bring friends and family and chat n eat.

Not that great very small selection on buffet desserts are all jelly things or sponge cake or icecream in tiny bowls for sauces and we had 10 people and only 2 burners disappointed
