Almost an institution when it comes to Vietnamese food in Northbridge, this restaurant has been around for what seems like forever. Over the years it has been consistent in its offerings which were maybe not the top but still a good average across the many Vietnamese restaurants around. However, on the latest occasion we went, the food was a little less consistent. On one hand they offer some intensely flavourful broths like with the Braised Duck Egg Noodle Soup, but on the other hand the pork chop in the broken rice was quite dry and lacked enough flavour. However, overall it's still a decent place to go for Vietnamese food with a reasonably large dining area. They also currently run a 10% off promotion for takeaways. Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options that aren't specifically marked and you'll need to check with staff to confirm if they're fully vegetarian. Parking: No dedicated parking. Only street parking close by.
Walked past this place and saw it was packed so that was a good enough reason to try it out. The pho was hands down delicious and one of the best I’ve had with super soft and tender slices of meat and a great tasty broth. The only downside was the stuffed chicken wing, which we randomly decided to try and kinda wished we didn’t as it was a bit too big and oily. But the pho more than made up for it and it’ll be all we have next time.
Great Vietnamese food! My goto place for Phó in Perth. Tasty not too salty beef broth. Silky soft Hofun noodles. Giant stuffed chicken wings with soft moist fillings. Always satisfied never disappoints.
Went to grab lunch as we felt like some Vietnamese. The pho tai and garlic king prawn were very good but not sure if I am going to try the stir fried veges again... The customer service was very exceptional, will be back to try some other menus soon
The best Vietnamese food we've ever had in Australia. Ordered the boneless fried chicken feet, beef vermicelli salad, and pork chop with rice.
Great food. I had a Special Fried Rice on a weekday lunch time. It wasn’t too busy. The dine-in service and ambience is okay, but the standout is definitely the taste of the food. Quantity is decent.
Hot BIG bowl of Beef Pho. We had the Raw Beef Hofan Soup. The portion is BIG with generous slices of beef. The beef slice come medium to prefectly cooked after dipping in the piping hot soup. Beef slice is tender and soup is flavourful. Beef slice best dip in their Vietnam chilli sauce. Comfy food on a cold day in Perth. Follow ReviewIKR on Instagram and Facebook for more reviews.
Eat where the locals eat. This place has been a Vietnamese food go to for years. Always great service. Never booked ahead but always got a table quickly. Food is great and very well priced.
Good food and fast service. Tried stuffed chicken wings , chicken mince rice with lemon grass and chicken curry with noodles . All the dishes were good. Do not sit opposite to the main door as it gets cold when ever some one opens the door. Will definitely go back
Had beef with lemon grass and rice noodles. It was very delicious! Good prices 11-16$ most of it. But sitting near the door is not a nice atmosphere. Felt the cold wind blowing into the restaurant every time the door opened. Second time we did not sit at the door and the food was again excellent. Prawn dumpling soup, huge portion, $15.50. A friend was also more than happy with a seafood soup.
