We went there for brunch with friends. Lovely atmosphere and a very decent menu. We ordered a bunch of stuffs and everything tasted good. The chicken schnitzel in the burger was a bit over cooked besides that everything was alright. We had dogs with us so we sat outside, it was on a weekend so the cafe was pretty busy.
Buzzing cafe in front of the antique market. Ginormous portions and great tasting menu, which, by the volume of customers, is a good indication is a good cafe to grab breakfast, brunch and lunch. Coffee is great too! Ordered their special, beer battered flathead. It was huge. I couldn't finish it. I just didn't enjoy the shoestring chips aka fries, it was slightly overcooked. However, the flathead was yummy and the salad that also came with it, was perfect. Good service, friendly. I think they might have been a bit short staffed today or it was busier than usual. Give their regular items on the menu a go if you're around Blackheath, and check their blackboard specials.
Without question the best scrambled eggs on earth. Generous fluffy, creamy, golden yellow deliciousness heaped on a generously buttered thick piece of white bread toast. So good I came back the next day to check it wasn’t a fluke. And it wasn’t! Sublime breakfast and great coffee. Perfect!
Popped into Victory Cafe for breakfast after being so impressed by the collection of second hand goods we saw the day before! However sadly the breakfast was a disappointment. We dealt with some rude staff, and also my ricotta pancakes came out with mushrooms on it and they were no help - implying I had to remove them myself. A few basics also missing i.e. no table water, no sauces for big breakfast, no table numbers. I wouldn’t come back anytime soon - however, hopefully the service improves in the future!
Coffee is good some days... Pancakes are a big No Even had them refunded last time I ate there! Eggs Benny is too cold Does not compete with other breakfast options in my opinion! : Beautiful environment tho!
It was very busy so not sure if this is why I found it ordinary. They had run out of both the options we wanted. Overpriced for what we settled for. The caramel latte was too sweet I couldn't taste any coffee. I wanted to eat at the Deli across the street but they were closing.
Attentive service and wonderful food and coffee! Ricotta hot cakes are delicious and generous. Bacon and egg roll seemed to have a house-made bbq sauce with a hint of chilli = awesome. Tea made with actual tea leaves. Good coffee in a thick mug to stay warm in the cold Bluey weather. Would recommend
Best coffee in the Blue Mountains and lovely atmosphere. We were there on Australia Day so loved that they were open when many other places were closed. BLAT was delicious and egg and sausage on toast came with bacon and a hash brown so was more food than expected and all very delicious. Not cheap but very nice.Food: 5/5
I loved this cafe. Warm friendly service on a super busy boxing day brunch and still got us in for a table for 11 without a booking.. staff were super attentive and food was excellent! Felt so looked after.. well done guys!Food: 5/5
We had a lunch at this cafe after 3 hours big walk in the mountains. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I had a chicken chickpea curry on rice which was really delicious. We also had some dishes from the brekkie menu and they were nice too. They can do split bill which is definitely a big plus
