I recently came in to VicRoads to do my P's test here in Geelong.nI was wrung dry with nerves and was overwhelmed by the atmosphere beforehand, but my driving instructor Ricky was an absolute saint. I was very nervous in the beginning, but he calmly and clearly went through every detail of the test with me, giving reassurances where necessary, and enunciating very clearly his words. Ricky was wonderful in easing my worries, and his professional demeanour was incredibly comforting and polished while I did the test. It made the whole experience very pleasant and overall mostly made my week. It was professional, comfortable, and above all easy to understand and helped assuage my worries. Because of Ricky's guidance, this experience at VicRoads was made easy and pleasant.
Brought my grandma in for a new license after she accidentally cut up the new one she’d just paid for. She was anticipating having to pay again and the lovely women on shift who served us at south Geelong simply just issued it out for her free of charge since it was a simple mistake. We were in and out in five minutes and my grandma cannot stop Raving. Really made her day. She thought they were really lovely and just so so kind. Thanks!
Issue : Interstate licence changesnDate: 30 September 2025nTime: 2:40 pmnI had a very disappointing experience at VicRoads Geelong while trying to transfer my WA licence to a Victorian licence. I brought all the required documents and licences, but was unexpectedly asked to provide my overseas licence, which was never mentioned at the time of booking the appointment.nnIt’s frustrating because I’ve already held a WA licence, completed all the necessary driving tests, and even driven professionally for Uber for 3 years. When I told them I had the overseas licence at home and could bring it back within 10 minutes, I was still told I’d need to rebook another appointment and wait 15–20 days, which shows very poor customer service.nnThis level of inflexibility is unacceptable and causes unnecessary delays. I strongly suggest avoiding this centre due to the unhelpful staff and poor customer service experience.
Kristine Exceptional Customer Service!nnThis morning, I experienced absolutely outstanding customer service from Kristine! I arrived nearly 15 minutes late and was very stressed, thinking I had missed my appointment. After speaking with Kristine whom I believe is a manager she handled the situation with such professionalism and calmness. Despite my frustration, she listened carefully, understood the situation, and kindly took it upon herself to complete my registration.nnThanks to her great problem-solving and genuine care, everything was sorted out smoothly. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Kristine for turning a stressful situation into a positive one. Wishing you all the best!
