I am not really the one to review places but my experience at Venus Nails was bad enough to write about it. They bad mouth and humiliate every customer in a very undignified way about anything or the customer’s preferences. I believe they prefer to have all customers stay silent and their conversation in their native language only be occurring,showing a lot of hate. Possibly the most rushed and the worst manicure I've ever had. And they charged $35 for this service.
Do not go to this place. And do not believe the 5 star reviews. It’s probably them. I’m a long term customer- they used to be good. With some nice girls working with good skills. Last couple of years the quality of service and job has gone down and the terrible attitude has gone right up. They are rude, very clearly speaking about customers in a derogatory way and the worst thing is they have NO RESPECT for people’s time. They’ll make you wait 30-40 min easy. Every time. Even with an appointment. I had three different girls taking over from each other for a simple mani/pedi plain polish. Repeating steps or missing them as they didn’t know what the other had done.. this wasn’t even shellac or SNS. I was there for 2.5 hrs. Outrageous. No apology and a terrible job at the end. obviously using poor quality polish poured into OPI bottles. Please see photo attached. Both my hands AND my feet are like this. And no, I didn’t wear shoes or rub my hands too early. To top it off, they tried to charge me five dollars extra!! Will never, ever return.
Service at this place is fantastic, didn’t make a booking but my friend and I got seated immediately. I got shellac done for a great price and it looks amazing, once they finished my nails I got a free hand massage which was lovely! Highly recommend
I get my nails done very often and this place is just awful. It is very rare for me to leave such a low review. Severely over priced $85 for sns with chrome and removal which is bot the original price quoted to me, the first staff member who started my nails kept coughing, sniffling and swallowing down her a phlegm as she was working and was very rough to the point that she hurt my nails with the filling tool multiple times that caused a burning sensation. The second girl that continued my nails applied the wrong chrome colour onto my nails with a green sheen instead of the one I chose. Would not recommend to anyone and highly unsatisfied. I wish I had never wasted my money on this place
I would have given -5 if that option was available. Absolutely horrendous service here. Just wanted my nails done, only to return back with an injured finger. Careless service staff - roughly handled my nails, I kept on warning that she is hurting me and it is painful. She continued to chip away at the cuticles with sharp cuticle remover, so rough ended up poking an hole causing my finger to bleed so much, and caused me so much pain. Went onto casually apply a dirty liquid on top of my bleeding finger with no common sense or general knowledge about infections. I had to wear Band-Aid for 2 weeks post the disgusting Service !!!! No apology from the manager of the this place. Generally the place itself lacks cleanliness, no sanitisation of equipment’s whatsoever, dirty chairs. Please avoid if you don’t want to lose your finger or end up with severe infections
Feeling like a queen with the nails I got today. Highly recommend Hannah for nail art designs. The team of angels are so sweet and cute, and will be sure to look after you!
Such a terrible experience here. I got a shellac pedicure and file and polish on my nails. The whole thing took over two hours. As soon as I left the salon my fingernails all smudged and I ended up taking it all off and doing it myself. The poor woman beside me overheard she spoke Vietnamese the women speaking rudely about her. Overall very unenjoyable experience.
Last time I went there the young lady told me she could do my shellac and to sit in the massage chair. She forgot about me and I sat there for 45 minutes trying to get her attention. When someone finally came over the job they did was terrible. What I noticed about this nail place is they care about $$ and not their customers. Quantity over quality. I recommend greville nails down the road.
