Ordered $70 worth of food including a large Greek salad. Was delivered a pathetic representation of a large salad that cost $17! When I called to complain I was told to call back on Monday and speak to the owner. And the food was very, very average. Totally unsatisfactory.
Just wanted a simple old fashioned fish and chips. Been going to this place on and off for 50yrs. Got down the road to a nice spot to tuck in and the chips weren't even salted and they were about the worse chips I've had ever. If they don't put salt on thing's anymore automatically that's fine but they should at least ask if you'd like some? Fish was good at least.
Sorry to see this place is due to close next month. Best fish, chips and seafood in the area, and great service to match.

Best fish and chips in Sydney. So fresh, everything made with love. Fish that’s cooked to perfection. Closest thing to fine dining, considering it’s just a take away shop. Unbelievable. I love this place. Have been their customer for years and have never been let down. Favorite is Grill Baby Octopus with lemon butter herb sauce not the sweet chilies one - quite sweet. Their chips are so good, crisp but moist at the same time.

Arguably one of the best fish and chips shops in Sydney, and definitely the best fish and chips shop in the Vaucluse/Rose Bay area. The standard fish and chips are one of the highlights of the shop. They are cooked to perfection, being crispy and tasty but not being too oily. The chips are fried well to your preference and salted generously. My personal favorite dish they sell is the Dill Mustard Salmon, the flavour combinations are genius and honestly a masterpiece. This on-top of a layer steamed rice, a small portion of greek salad and a small box of chilli baby octopus is honestly divine but that is just my personal favourite. They make many other delicious dishes and seafood. 100% would recommend.
I am not a fan of fish and chips, in fact I frown upon anyone who suggests fish and chips but Vaucluse Ocean Food has the best fish and chips in my books. The staff are friendly and service is great except for the lady who needs to step up her game to keep up with the boys great service. Best of all they close at 8:00pm. The price is very reasonable. Totally recommend giving this place a try.
Crispy batter, great quality seafood and crunchy hot chips. One of the best fish and chips I had around Sydney. Generous portion size as well. Must try local eats!
