Vaporetto is a new Venetian Bar & Eatery in Hawthorn, Melbourne. Located beneath the Lido Cinema complex, trading 7 days.

Story

Kim Coronica and Greg Feck, owners of Crabapple Kitchen, along with David Wickwar bring you Hawthorn's very own Venetian Bar & Eatery. Vaporetto or "Little Steamer" as it translates to in English, are Italian water taxis which service the canals and islands of Venice. Join us as we transport you to this beguiling city to discover the food, wine and cocktails of the Veneto region.

The Bar and Eatery is open 7 nights a week from from 5pm and all day from 12 noon on Friday - Sunday.

What an absolute gem! My husband and I popped in for what we thought was a short night for a few cocktails at the bar and ended up staying a few hours because the atmosphere, service and quality were that good! Alex, the bartender, was so hospitable and really made us feel at home. Every drink was well thought out and perfectly executed. We ordered a few bar snacks as we had eaten earlier and wished we came with an empty stomach as every dish was amazing!! We can't wait to return. All in all, a perfect night out, can't wait to come back! Thanks team, Carly

Fantastic service, the best Aperol Spritz ever, and the most original cocktails. A great place to go for a cocktail and snacks, or for a full meal. The seafood is consistently good.

I love this place. The staff are knowledgeable and very warm. It feels like the kind of place you want to make your regular eatery. The food is excellent. The wine list is varied. The bartenders do an excellent martini to order. The decor is not cutting edge industrial hip, but this place isn't pretending to be the coolest restaurant in Hawthorn. It's just claiming to be very good. And it is.
