This is probably the most delicious Chinese restaurant in the city, I had lunch here everyday before when the virus broke out , Many store are closed due to the epidemic, I hope this restaurant still keep. Hot and Sour Fish Soup, and Mapo Tofu is my favorite. Actually, I have tried every one of their food, anyone food in this store is very yummy. Good for recommended restaurant
Normally I don’t like Nothern Chinese cuisine but this place isn’t bad. The dishes I like the most is the pan fried pork with sweet chili sauce. On top of that, the lamb rack doesn’t have that usual game smell to it making it very tasty and easy to palate. Great place to have group gathering as food service is fast and not too busy.
Great food and friendly staff. Very authentic food from northeast region of China. The portion of the food is definitely enough to fill your stomach. Will definitely come back.
Stumbled across this little place while looking for a quick drink. The lychee martini was sweet and hit the spot as did the tempura prawns and the gyoza. Amazing find!
Awesome service and great value lunch! Curry chicken rocks! ^_^
Great food and friendly waitress. Strongly recommend one dish called crispy pork in sweet n sour and fish filets in hot hill oil. Also the cocktail is a good deal. Worth to try
They've got $9.90 lunch deal and the choices are quite good.
Had my 30th here with the back room reserved for us. We were offered a great package for food and drinks that was really good value. The hostess was attentive and friendly. The canapés provided were fresh and delicious. Good variety of beer, wine, spirits and cocktails available which was fantastic but unfortunately the taste of the cocktails was very inconsistent which was probably because of the large number of drinks that we were ordering!
Although the food came out quickly, it was not freshly made, so I can only assume that the food was either kept warm somehow or microwaved before serving. The Japanese fried chicken was warm and not hot and tasted like cardboard. It had chilli sauce and mayonnaise all over it. I would have preferred for these to be on the side so that I could control the quantity of sauce. The sauce actually cooled the chicken down even more. Not ideal as it was a cold winter day. On the positive, the chilli sauce gave the chicken some flavour but the mayonnaise negated it. It was clear that they were catering to an Asian market as the daily specials sign was not in English. I only know that it was the specials because we asked what the sign said. We were the only diners during our lunch break of a typical working week - peak period and a time that should have seen this venue full of patrons. It would appear that even their target market has deserted them. I can understand why. If you do find yourself on Exhibition Street or in the vicinity and you're feeling hungry, do yourself a favour, keep walking.
