This was my first time eating here and I rate this place 1000 out of 100. I ordered the full rack of beef ribs and it blew my mind.nI was also tended to by the very experienced and super accommodating Steph  manager. She looked after me so well, someone should honestly give her a raise.nnI will 100% be back with friends.

Arrived to book in accommodation and lady at reception was fantastic and accommodated are needs.  Meal at the hotel was terrible, my husband had a small steak and chips only with mushroom sauce, the sauce was like toilet water, we approached the manager who took some time to come over to us and as my husband had attempted to eat a warm meal she would not refund and quite rudely offered a drink, we then went to our room which the bed was horrible and no hot water in the morning,  the accommodation was extremely noisy and definitely not somewhere I would recommend.

Cleaned up on the pokies but... staff were rude, room was kinda dodgy, gave us a run around to get our deposit back, sending us back amd forth to different desks.... lucky in that time I won another 1k on the machines. Terrible effort, good wins. Oh and cops hang around in the car park all night busting people driving in or out!

I stayed here a few times last year and was impressed bout the cleanliness of the room and surprised by the comfort of the beds and pillows. Food is your usual pub food. This is the only place we stay when we visit Townsville, the secured/gated fencing gives us peace with the current crime rate going at the moment.

Used to be great last year with the old manager , has gone downhill since new manager and in particular the assistant manager who was rude and unhelpful when asking for a refund immediately after paying on the app on their tables . We needed to cancel the order due to emergency and was told it was impossible and we would need to take it up with the me&u app , the app informed us no it was the establishments responsibility.  Will never go back
