Had a couple hours to kill between our train and flight. So happy we found this spot. They were super friendly and helpful our French is terrible and they were nice enough to help us in English and the food was absolutely delicious.
You can enjoy it here Veg and Non Veg food and good things are Non Veg is Halal, Mostly staff from Bangladesh and they are very nice people, You can enjoy the taste every bite, Must Try Non veg food as well if you are non vegetarian I didn't expect it i eat very delicious food in Paris but it's done now . Vegetarian options: You can eat delicious vegetarians food as well here, The staff are very helpful and fast service.
We have been travelling for 3 weeks & were in need of some Asian food. Came across this Indian restaurant - Taj Mahal Gare de Lyon near our hotel. The restaurant was easy to find, it was very clean, the welcome & service was exceptional. The menu was easy to read & dishes very similar to back home. The food tasted great & was very filling. The prices were very reasonable & more than happy to pay for great food & service. If you are staying in the area go check this place out!
My partner and I ate here during our Paris stay. It was extremely close to our Hotel. There were a couple of tables busy when we walked in. We were warmly greeted and offered a number of tables to choose from. We had our food and drinks orders taken. Our food came out quite quickly, and we were provided a central dish holding 3 small individual bowls with condiments, a spicy pickle relish, a sweet sauce and a mint sauce. The food was absolutely delicious, not too hot you couldn’t eat and just enough, that we both were full. During our meal several more tables filled and many take-away or delivery orders were also going out. A sign of a good restaurant, in my books. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely return. Highly recommend checking it out.
Responding to your Response: I did not have a child or old lady with me, so you are seriously mistaking me with someone else. I don't have a personal agenda with you and did not mean to offend you with my critiques but rather take them as constructive! I praised your staff and told him the food was good though he didn't seem to believe me. You do have a Bengali chef and letting people know should not be called racist. I am sorry if you felt it this way. Food is a big part of any culture and reading the name of your restaurant gives an impression to find Indian food, but I think the spices and way of cooking is different in Bangladesh and India. So, in a way you are confusing people with a misinformation. Original feedback: Wouldn't recommend! Bengali chef didn't like the food. The guy service us was nice and he was trying but the environment is not good here, I was grossed out.

Ignore the recent 1 star review it is from a competition business I an investigating this. I have eaten here many times and can confirm that it is in fact a very genuine good Indian restaurant. They treat everyone with respect and I treat them with respect. The food here is delicious and have good memories from some good nights here. I look forward to another visit soon. Huge respect to all the team. Thank you.
I've never tried Indian food before but I become a fan, very good.
Best curry ever had, shame it’s in a back street as they are really good. They speak English which was a good thing for us. Must say I’ve never seen a puffed up fresh cooked nam bread like that before. Thanks Robert
The service was excellent. Though food wasn't that good. Naans were under cooked. The curries had too much oil. Overall fine but not a five star place.
