I got scammed by the a charity street collector, he stand in front of the entrance door to the counter. Not sure if the manager knew there was someone intervening their clients after walking out from the store. He asked my personal information I asked for a donation for a good cause. He said he is from charity to save people from drowning. What I didn’t do and that I should have done is asking and checking his identification, charity ID. And If I have any doubts about who they are, do not pay
The staff working there on 25th of April 2026 at 3:15 am was really rude. The shift manager needs to give a couching on customer service before giving him shift again or fire him. I can see so many bad reviews here, why are you not taking any action on the staffs.
Go at your own risk. Rubbish service. Paid for the trailer hire from U-Haul, their fuel truck parked in front of it, refused to move for even 5 minutes so I could hook up, despite having just arrived, he didn't even have hoses connected. Staff were similarly dismissive and rude. Couldn't pay me to set foot here again let alone pay them for fuel.nEDIT: As requested, the time was precisely 1400 on Fri 04 June 2026.
Yesterday evening around 7:30 PM, I visited the Parap store with my brother to buy drinks and a pie. After taking the drinks, we politely asked staff for the pie. We called out four times but were completely ignored. At first, we thought the staff member might be busy, but then he made a hand gesture telling us to wait, it was very rude.nLater, another customer came and was served immediately while we were still waiting. After that, the staff member knocked on the glass and said “come here.” At least a simple “please” would have been polite. When we reached the counter, he asked “which pie?” in a rude tone. We pointed out which was in menu. After heating it, he said “by the way, this is not pie” in a disrespectful manner. I explained to him that this was the reason I tried to ask earlier because we needed to know which pie was beef and which was vegetarian. His response was,”I already heated up, this is not pie” in rude manner. Then, I also had to told him.. Bro you should learn customer service and asked if this was how customers are treated, he came out from the side door aggressively and said “What did you say?” The situation could have escalated, but my brother stopped me and we left without taking the item.nThis level of customer service is unacceptable. We are paying customers, not asking for free items. Management should seriously investigate who was on shift at that time and provide proper customer service training.
